DO NOT USE ON ANY ACCOUNT. They closed before I arrived meaning I was left alone with no transport. Costing me taxi's to and from the airport. They promised me petrol off which they didn't not honour.. Then charged me PS50 at the end for petrol. Then continued to send me fines for road traffic issues that I don't recall. Like every other day, taking more and more money.

We rented a car in Ibiza, they charged us 700eur after the return of the car without any explanation, invoice, email nor document. It has been impossible to reach them since. They do not pick up the phone and Hertz does not even reply to our emails. Unbelievable for a company of that kind!

I always booked with Hertz and this is the most ridiculous branch I've ever been. During the check in the guy has tried to force us to pay PS160 euros sustaining that the online payment was only a part of the final bill (never happen before). Only after he understood that I was an hertz customer since years he admitted it was only to have an higher insurance cover. Who knows how many people "scammed" using this method. Shame on him and on Hertz. The lady in the parking during the check out was really nice instead. The star is only for her, otherwise I would have gave you 0 stars.

Same as another review here. I rented a Peugeot 5008 or similar was at first offered a smaller car which did not have enough luggage space and then was offered Dacia Jogger which was dirty, satnav did not work and the car beeped at you if you put the radio on. The office admitted Hertz had made a mistake offering the Peugeot out to rent. Returned it the next day as opposed to having it for a week, but now Hertz are refusing to refund. This is basically a scam, renting out cars they don't have and force you to take cheaper cars and trying to keep the difference.

They told us that a credit card is required otherwise we would have to pay 200 euros extra without being refunded and that's how it was in all Ibiza, even though that wasn't the case. we ended up going through a nearby agency which only blocked the amount. I add that the staff was unpleasant

I put a 1 star because and there is another chance to put less. We rent a car with my friends. When it comes time to return, we want to finally extend the location. They said it's impossible without any explanation. We just returned the keys in the box and go to the Hertz Airport. In front of me, a disrespectful person and certainly the most unpleasant person you can meet in a company. No one even thinks about talking to us (she was too busy drinking spritz with her colleagues). I decided to tell her that her that his behavior was inappropriate and when you spoke to her, she don't even look me in front of my eyes or response (she was on her phone). WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE It was the 9-June around 19h-20h.

AVOID. There are no staff at hand over for your car , you just get the keys at the desk and when you return you drop the keys at an unattended kiosk. They then send you an invoice with a load of made up charges for damage from a random company you have never heard of. Fortunately I have photos of the car before and after rental so I will just dispute the charges with my credit card company.

I live in Ibiza, and I can highly recommend that you do not book with Hertz. Don't fall for the cheap prices they offer, as they are misleading. They will put you in the position to decide whether you want to pay for extra insurance, which is often equally or even more expensive than the rental price of the car you booked, or they will charge you a very high deposit on your credit card. As I refused to pay for the extra insurance, they charged my credit card with 820EUR, which isn't the problem as I decided to do so. The problem is that they, even if you return the car and everything is perfectly fine, as in my case, they keep the deposit blocked on your card for 30 days, which is not stated in the contracts, and no one told me at the rental station. Plus, they don't answer calls or emails. So, I had to contact my bank to get the information I needed. Just imagine you have a family to feed, you go on holidays, and you come back home relying on that amount of money, and they just don't give it back to you. It's definitely not the way it should be, guys. There are definitely better options than them.

Whenever I rent a vehicle for work it is through Hertz and they have always given me vehicles that meet what I requested. The best of all is that they are almost new with very few km, nothing like others that are for towing with burned clutches. A highly recommended agency.

24.8. The rented car was good and as agreed. We didnt have to wait. We paid the price in advance. The amount reserved on the credit card was 300.- We had minor damage (scratches at the back) and I was informed when I returned it on August 31, 2024, and I put it in writing, that 130 would be debited from the KK. On September 3rd I see that I was charged 190.50. Unfortunately there was NO response on the WhatsApp chat. I will complain and submit an official Spanish consumer form! Something like that doesnt work!

Hertz sent me the invoice for my rental 24 hours after returning the vehicle, adding 1 more day for no reason. My rental having been paid in advance, Hertz happily uses the visa guarantee card. Hertz Spain customer service did not respond to my request sent by email. I sent an email to the Ibiza airport agency today hoping to get an explanation. Update: 3 weeks later, still no response... So it is indeed a SCAM committed by Hertz, a multinational!

We booked a fiat 500 for Ibiza for 3 days, first they give us another car without prior notice, ok. We continue, on Saturday our car leaves us stranded and we have to call the tow truck, the insurance tells us that they cannot arrange a taxi for us and that we have to find our life (we have taken out comprehensive insurance and being in a tip of Ibiza at a viewpoint between curves), we find life as best we can and we manage to get to the airport, which gives us another car. On Sunday they returned the 200 euros deposit since they closed the contract earlier by mistake. On Sunday we left the car at the airport and on Monday we received a charge on our card of 202.69 euros, we called to ask for explanations and after many calls they took it from us and told us that this is not the case and that it is not them, ignoring us , we tell them that it is them, put in hertz and end the conversation by saying that they will consult and send an email to the address X that they answer. 3 days pass and no one answers, I complain and no one answers. Pasan 3 dias y nadie contesta, reclamo y nadie contesta. Vuelvo a recibir un movimiento en mi cuenta de 149 euros que han sumado. Llamo porque estan quitando y poniendo dinero en mi cuenta sin ningun tipo de aviso ni de permiso y me dice el que me coge el telefono que tenemos un cargo de 50 y pico euros por la gasolina del coche que se llevo la grua, le pregunto como se supone que podemos llenar el deposito de un coche que no funciona y se lleva la grua y me dice que es lo que hay y que asi es la politica. Le pido la factura de la gasolina que pusieron como justificacion de esos cincuenta y pico euros y me cuelga el telefono. Llamamos y llamamos y no nos lo vuelve a coger nadie.

Good morning, We received the car after midnight and had the unpleasant surprise of being charged 50 euros more. No one in the parking lot to take inventory before and after receiving the car. The car was 2/3 full so we returned the car with 2/3 and we again had the unpleasant surprise of being billed for fuel... After several emails and supporting photos as proof, we received contempt from the staff for this complaint. I do not recommend this rental company at all.

Personne au parking pour faire letat des lieux avant et apres reception de la voiture. La voiture avait 2/3 du plein nous avons donc rendu la voiture avec 2/3 et on a encore eu la mauvaise surprise de se faire facturer du carburant... Apres plusieurs mails et photos a lappuis comme preuves nous avons eu droit a du mepris de la part du personnel pour cette reclamation. Je ne recommande pas du tout ce loueur.

My experience with Hertz Ibiza airport was beyond horrible!!!!!!!!!!! I rent from Hertz Gran Canaria at least 6 times a year because I am treated as a friend of Hertz there. Now last night I saw a completely different side of Hertz, this time at Ibiza airport . At the counter I was helped by Mrs. Ana, a typical woman who is still a few days before her retirement and can almost stop working but still has to persevere. Arrogant, disinterested, know-it-all, and almost insulting... not at all interested in the client on the other side of the counter!!!! To make a long story short, I let her keep the car because I couldnt get through one door with her and she treated me very condescendingly.. She just shrugged her shoulders and didnt care if I took the car or not... her whole body language showed that she didnt like me! She said, you wont get your money back... Now filed a complaint with Hertz and lets see what they will do with this now, I wont leave it at that!! In the meantime, I rented a car somewhere else because Im skipping Hertz Ibiza...

Om een lang verhaal kort te maken heb ik haar de auto laten houden omdat ik met haar niet door 1 deur kon en ze mij heel neerbuigend behandelde.. Ze trok gewoon haar schouders op en het kon haar niet schelen of ik de auto nam of niet haar hele lichaamstaal liet merken dat ze mij niet mocht ! Ze zei , je krijgt je geld toch niet terug Nu een klacht ingediend bij Hertz en kijken wat ze hier nu mee gaan doen , ik laat het hier niet bij zitten !! In tussentijd maar ergens anders een auto gehuurd want Hertz Ibiza sla ik even over
