Europcar Eivissa - Alquiler de Coches in Ibiza

Hired a car online on Europcar's website, pick-up 6 pm. When we visited Europcar Playa d'en Bossa on the scheduled time, they told us that the car is not here. "Please come back later." Next morning, when we visited again, they informed us: "Your booking has been cancelled because you didn't show up." They assured us that nothing will be charged. Meanwhile, we were charged the full rental price (despite not having received any car) AND, in addition, the no-show fee of 95 EUR. Update: after having contacted the Europcar customer service, I meanwhile received a full refund.

Worst EuropCar experience so far - didn't refund as promised - rude and unfriendly - Cancel your reservation without telling you! Unless you are into being treated badly and getting scammed you might want to go somewhere else.

I feel so bad for everybody that works here. This company is incredibly unorganized and makes the process of picking up a car incredibly difficult and frustrating for the workers and for the customer. They put their employees in situations where people are here to pick up cars and there are none available. They suck

We rented a car here the end of October and it was the most relaxing and easiest car rental I ever had. What a friendly person that helped us and we were able to rent it one more day for a very good price. Thanks a lot for the good service! Would recommend this place to other people and definitely rent again here if we come back to Ibiza.

Standard car hire. Nice car but you can tell cars get bumped up a lot. Our car only done 6000km but quite battered for a new ish car. The staff sold the insurance to you for premium as still in season but wasn't too bad of a price at EUR94 for meaning your excess drops to EUR0. If you don't have insurance and just the insurance included in hire price, your excess is looking at EUR1500-2000 so just to warn you. You have a holding charge to cover petrol if not filled up prior to return but this was released within a week of returning the car. Also, it's better to return your car here if hiring here rather than the airport as the airport charges EUR30 to return there and a taxi from dropping off in Bossa then straight to airport is cheaper than that.

Paid in advance via app when booking but then card was charged again when we collected leaving us out of pocket. When collecting car the lady suggested we get additional insurance and said it was only EUR19. Despite confirming she said EUR1-9 we were in fact charged an additional EUR90. Expected more from Europcar. Extremely poor service and still out of pocket.

FYI the office is closed on sundays...even though your email confirmation will say it is open...generally all fine, good service.
