Ho noleggiato la mia macchina per 2 giorni. Tutto bene ma richiedono 700EUR di pre-autorizzazione sulla carta come deposito. La ragazza al banco non e stat molto gentile in quanto sul documento e a voce mi era stato detto di tornare con "full tank" e non c'erano problemi se non fosse che la benzina era a 7/8 al momento del noleggio, e una volta fatto notare la cosa con tanto di foto mi e stato detto in malo modo che lei aveva detto di tornare a 7/8 e non full ma comunque di tenermi la foto per la riconsegna perche sul documento era segnato full. Alla fine non ci sono stati problemi ma non ci tornerei.
I rented my car for 2 days. All good but they require EUR700 pre-authorisation on the card as a deposit. The girl at the counter was not very kind because on the document and verbally I had been told to return with "full tank" and there were no problems except that the petrol was at 7/8 at the time of rental, and a once I pointed this out with a photo I was rudely told that she had said to return to 7/8 and not full but still to keep the photo for the return because it was marked full on the document. In the end there were no problems but I wouldn't go back.

Very smooth experience both here and in Flores. The service was very quick and friendly. The car felt a bit worn but nothing major and was capable of climbing the hights. Be aware that both in Faial and even more in Pico, many side /small roads are in terrible condition so you really need to be carful when driving there or just avoid these roads.
Esta compania son unos ladrones. Alquilamos coche con seguro a todo riesgo con franquicia de 100 euros. Sufrimos un pinchazo y resulto que el coche no tenia rueda de repuesto. Nos cobraron 40 euros por la asistencia de venir a traernos otro coche, al devolverlo al cabo de un trayecto de 20 km para recoger el nuestro nos cobraron 25 euros de gasolina. Y el ultimo dia al dejar el coche nos cobraron los 100 euros por la rueda (un pinchazo). Unos ladrones en toda regla
This company are thieves. We rent a car with comprehensive insurance with a deductible of 100 euros. We suffered a puncture and it turned out that the car did not have a spare wheel. They charged us 40 euros for the assistance of coming to bring us another car, when we returned it after a 20 km journey to pick up ours they charged us 25 euros for gasoline. And on the last day when we left the car they charged us 100 euros for the tire (a puncture). Some real thieves

We returned our rental car from Horta here to catch a flight and everything went well.
Haben auf Pico und Faial hier gemietet und alles verlief freundlich und problemlos. Auch die Abhol/Abgabeorte konnte nachtraglich zum Hafen geandert werden, sodass wir uns jeweils eine Taxifahrt gespart haben.
We rented here on Pico and Faial and everything went smoothly and smoothly. The pick-up/drop-off locations could also be changed later to the port, so we saved a taxi ride each time.
Great staff, great car, fast service
We rented twice with them (both on Faial and Pico). Both times it went very smooth, the cars were in a good state, the company was very flexible with the pick-up location at no extra cost. On top of that prices were very fair (off season rentals).
