Raquel was very kind, and provided excellent service. One tip, don't rent thru Europcar. They don't communicate reservations well will Ilha Verde. Better to rent directly from Ilha Verde.

We rented a car for 3 days, the girl at the desk was very nice and everything went well at the pick-up and drop-off. We paid 12EUR at the desk for picking up the car at the port (they told us cars usually are at the airport and you pay a price for the transfer to the port). We didn't know about that but it was not a problem.

Hello everyone, unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with ILHA VERDE - Rent a Car. They tried to accuse me of damages upon return that were already present on the vehicle when I rented it. The vehicle already had nearly 50,000 km on it. Those damages were definitely not caused by me. Such methods! It's a shame, they really ruined my day and vacation. I will definitely stay away from ILHA VERDE - Rent a Car in the future.

Extremely nice service. Despite a shortage of available cars, they were the only rental companies that tried to find a solution. Very good car, easy pick-up and return at the port. Occasionally the representative is at the airport and the office at the ferry port is then closed. Call (numbers above the door) and someone always came back in less than the advertised 5 minutes.

Vehicle at the Horta location was largely in order (Nissan Juke) and corresponded to the booking. What was clearly negative was that the alleged consumption was supposed to be almost 11 liters for 63 km driven (we had to fill up that much before handing it over). The car was certainly not handed over with a full tank. When I complained, they said, No, you definitely drove more and certainly used the air conditioning. Then the car consumes more. Neither is the case. (Even if the air conditioning was used, consumption would never have exceeded 17l/100km) Too bad. So far we have been very happy with Ilha Verde.

Deutlich negativ aufgefallen ist, dass der angebliche Verbrauch bei 63 km, die gefahren wurden, bei fast 11 Litern liegen sollte (so viel mussten wir vor Abgabe tanken). Der Wagen wurde sicherlich nicht vollgetankt ubergeben. Auf meine Beschwerde hin wurde dann gesagt nein, Sie sind bestimmt mehr gefahren und haben sicherlich auch die Klimaanlage genutzt. Dann verbraucht der Wagen mehr. Beides ist nicht der Fall. (Selbst bei Nutzung der Klimaanlage ware nie im Leben ein Verbrauch von uber 17l/100km entstanden) Schade. Bisher waren wir sehr zufrieden mit Ilha Verde.
