The staff at One's Rent A Car Hawaii were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our entire experience, with Kazumi and another gentleman standing out. Kazumi kindly greeted us at the airport baggage claim, making the first day seamless. On the second day, we had an accident that shattered the rear tailgate window. Despite our panic, they swiftly and kindly assisted us, minimizing delays so we could continue our trip. Thanks to their support, we enjoyed the rest of our itinerary. I'll definitely choose their service again if I return to Honolulu. Thank you!

Felt really comfortable with these guys based on reviews, and although the Seaside location is a little bit of an extra task to get shuttled back and forth from the main office (allow extra time), its a convenient location and its free! I am always really careful with documenting any scratches etc, but I get the feeling these guys are genuinely doing the right thing and I needn't had bothered. We were rushing to get back due to a huge traffic jam on the other side of the island.. we were using our own Google Maps (although the car has it built in), I will say that there are some tricks getting back into the main depot (google was wanting us to do weird UTurns etc which is completely unnecessary if I could stop and figure it out), so try to sort it out before you leave for the depot, as its very hard to fix it once you are on the freeways and in traffic.

good price, good cars, good experience, except on one of the days, we had a misunderstanding (they thought we wanted to opt for a second driver for a second day that we didn't). this is a simple misunderstanding that should have been resolved quickly but ended up escalating into an argument that cost us almost an hour of our trip. although the language barrier between us and the staff (native japanese speakers) didn't help, the real issue was that the lady at the counter refused to listen to us, or accept that the error might be on their end (it was)

You're in luck if the car they give you happens to be in good shape, but both my friend and I have had awful experiences with a faulty car that broke down within 2 hours of driving, which we had to pay to tow (on top of other fees and headaches). The employee at the counter was nice, but beyond that customer service is non-existent and management is very rude. I've NEVER had anyone at a company, let alone management, yell at me and accuse me of things that weren't my fault. I do not recommend them on the sole basis that you should never have to take such a huge risk with a car. Yes, they're cheap, but even if you pay for insurance there's a risk.

The best rental car company I've ever used in my life! Super first pick up and drop off. All staff were so kind and the price was almost half of other companies!! They also provide free parking lot from 8am to 7pm in Waikiki. I'll definitely use again.

Rented a convertible for 2 days. Smooth and easy rental experience. Best thing is they have a parking lot for you to park in the city (as long as you are in before 7pm) - saved me from outrageous parking rates at the hotel. The walk was only 10 mins. Would recommend.

Small fleet of cars. Super affordable and very reasonable. The prices are set they don't fluctuate. Unlike the other rental car agencies. We rented a Prius to adults three kids at first I thought it was going to be too small but it was perfect when around the whole island only used to 3 gallons of gas.

Emailed them a few days before and got confirmation for a mid size Carolla for only $65 a day with taxes and everything. All I needed was bring my proof of insurance. The car was clean and drove smoothly. They have a park lot in the area that we parked for free overnight! That saved us $40-50 a night. We just had to park by 7pm which was super easy. The return process took a minute. They just confirmed full tank, a quick walk around and done. My first time renting from a small company and will definitely do it again.
