While traveling in Hawaii,I originally made a reservation for 2 days at First Rent A Car. After I found out that after hour-drop is not possible, I changed my booking to one day. Andrea, woman who works there originally charged two days and told me that I would get a refund for one day. After paperwork was done, on the way out of the hotel, I realized I had no drivers license. I quickly returned to her and she wasn't at her desk for at least 20 min. I had to wait while in a rush. When she came back, she already knew she didn't give it back to me. She kept it in her desk even though she had my number, and could've even chase! She was also even gone for 5 min while processing paperwork. I was confused and still don't know why. After processing docs, Andrea gave me an invoice that I would be getting 1 day car rental credit for paying 2 days. However, she never processed it. A few days later I called the company and was told that I had to email to receive a refund. no email no refund!!! Still waiting for a refund. It has been a week. Andrea is very unprofessional!
Hand down the easiest car rental experience I've ever had. Plus, the prices are reasonable and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The person who checked out my car to me took extra time to make great recommendations for things to do on the island. The extra insurance is worth it for the free overnight parking. Highly recommended.
I rented a car from First Rent A Car for 7 days after we arrived in Honalulu for a vacation. The price was reasonable and we could drop it off every evening and park it at no charge. Sindy was the representative was very patient and pleasant explaining everything thoroughly. I would highly recommend this company if you need a car rental.
