Cobey is the best staff i have ever interacted with. I lost my stuff in the rental car and had to leave oahu without being able to pick it up. Cobey actively follows up with me and mail to me. Though some work is not even his responsibility. Would definitely come back for rental!
The staff was rude and asked me to leave after insisting on receiving either the car I booked or a price adjustment for the one they had. I booked a Jeep Wrangler for $387 for one day and was offered a "dirty" Chevy Malibu at the same rate. Beware: Avis will take your reservation for anything, anywhere, whether they can deliver it or not. Then they will refuse to help and tell you to "take it or leave it." This is not the only game in town or even the only one at this hotel.
Only one person at the desk so it takes forever to get your car. I went early to get my prepaid car but after waiting about 40 minutes and realizing I wouldn't be able to make it to my Hanauma bay reservation I had to leave and take an Uber instead. Called them to ask if they would move my booking to another day but they weren't helpful at all. Pick another location or another company.
Only rented the car for 20 hours and got charged for 2 days. Would not recommend. Feels like a scam. **EDIT** upon closer inspection, rate is actually for early return, not 2 day rate like employee said. Employees said there's be no cost to early return when asked, and a different employee said that this was a 2 day rate so there's a certain level of misunderstanding going on here. Would still not recommend.

Great location and great rates. Plenty of cars if you book more than 24 hours ahead. Not much last minute. No key drop but can park in the garage overnight and return keys the next morning. Note there are two parking garages. The first on the right is not the one. Take the second right then a left.
Normally have good-to-great service from Avis. This location was different. My flight was delayed by a couple of hours and I would not make the pick up time. I had a friend and I try to call them but they would not answer. The national number stated that if flights are delayed that the reservations are automatically held for 24 hrs. The next day at the pickup location, the employee would not drop the charge for one day, saying he had no power to do that. Furthermore, the total cost was higher than my quoted cost by about $30. The vehicle he gave us was filthy. It had trash in the center console, and rear. There was sand, dirt, and plant debris in the vehicle, including the trunk. I went back to the desk to ask for a clean vehicle, and the employee was no where to be found, but there was a line forming of people waiting. After the employee who cleans the cars came by (he was leaving for the day, and would not stay to clean any cars) he called the desk employee and informed him of the long line waiting for him. When he got to us, he said he had no clean cars available in the class we reserved, and that we could either take a dirty car, or cancel the contract. We asked about upgrades to a class with a clean car (which in all other rental locations, I've had done without requesting it) and he would not. With this service, I was afraid to drop off the vehicle at this location for fear of delays and risk of arriving late to the airport. I requested from Avis to be able to return the car to the airport and they said they would charge me about $457 more.....
Possibly the worst car return I've ever experienced. Have fun first trying to figure out where to drop the car, then taking 15 minutes being confused ascending the parking lot to the 7th floor where there's the tiniest sign "for avis return customers only". Then going down to the Sheraton lobby when it's 4:05pm just for the Avis rep to tell you he's off work and can't literally just take back the keys. Then going to international market place where it's a literal geocaching adventure trying to find the drop box including "head NW to the double glass doors" yeah lemme just pull out my compass. Good luck trying to return your car in under an hour.
