Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Guadalajara

Staff gave clear directions to find their kiosk and shuttle service. Shuttle drivers were so polite. Service to and from airport to their car lot. They moved a little away since there's so much construction. Rental process was simple and easy, didn't push a heavy sale. Return process just as simple. Would definitely use again.

All rental companies will require the insurance that is not sold online. Check-In: Jessica was very fast and I was out the door within 10 minutes. The location and car were very clean, they offer coffee, and it's a short shuttle ride (2 minutes) from the airport. Check-out: The process with Violeta took less than 5 minutes. We did not have to wait for a ride to the airport. Guadalupe, the shuttle driver, was already waiting to take us to the airport. It was a bit more than NU but you get what you pay for.

My husband booked a pay-later reservation that included liability insurance through Expedia. When we got to the front desk they told us there was not coverage and that an extra $14 a day would be required to release the vehicle. Save yourself time and headaches by going with Optima car rentals. There is a reason they have over 2k reviews with 4.9 stars. No Scams just great customer service.

After reading some of the recent reviews I was really skeptical. But everything from getting picked up from airport to receiving keys for car was phenomenal. Cristian was excellent he eased my mind and help me build trust for future rentals. Booked with Expedia!!!!

I booked a vehicle online for Guadalajara. I get a price. I arrive to pick up the vehicle and am told at the counter I need to add a mandatory coverage which is more than the rental amount for the whole week! Why was this not added during the checkout online? Felt very deceiving! If this is mandatory, then it should not have proceeded without adding it before checking out on the app. Very disappointed.

Worst experience ever. I reserved through Expedia with extra coverage. I get to the desk and they won't let the car go without their insurance. Then they asked for credit card that I don't have. I never used a credit card with any car rental company. So in short I got screwed. Don't reserve with Expedia. Don't reserve with Enterprise.

Check in w the people at the airport and they have a bus transfer to the location. They dont have "menu" or the type of insurance they offer you just have to trust that you are being charged correctly. I tried my best to understand but with premium insurance I rented a Nissan Sentra for about 7,663 pesos or about 390 dollars for 3 nights 4 days. And I opted to pump gas instead of them charging me (which they will say most people do but I highly doubt it) It included an extra driver which I thought was free since my mom is well over 25. The deposit is outrageous they charged my card 13,653 pesos or about 700 ish dollars to hold. I recommend to record the car and point out any damages just in case anything happens. And I recorded when I dropped it off too to make sure I would have evidence if they tried to bs me. Over all I probably wouldn't rent here again or just do liability insurance and pray nothing happens to the car lol. Pros- they were there for us early in the am and where open all day for us to drop it off at 3 30 am as well Cons- the hold amount and the secretive non disclosed price on the insurance. I have been to many car rentals places and they have a catalog of what charges what car. We live and learn.
