The car just get scratch and they keep the 500 dollars and also over charge 800 dollars olas don't go there we get overcharged 1,300 they just take the money from you card don't go there is a big mistake
Our recent experience with Alamo at Guadalajara International Airport was deeply disappointing. We booked based on good reviews, but the service has definitely changed over the years. We faced incredibly long waits both when picking up and returning the car. To add to our frustration, the car we initially booked was unavailable, and the replacement vehicle that was dropped off as we waited had a strong smell of cigarette smoke--a significant issue for our non-smoking family with three young children under six. Though Alamo eventually delivered the original car we rented on the third day, the vehicle came with its own set of problems: three seatbelts were locked and unusable, and one was chewed up and didn't work at all. This was a serious safety concern, especially given that we were traveling with little ones. The return process was equally frustrating. We were accused of returning the car with a missing visor, causing further delays. Only when we showed them a video we had taken--proving that the car was delivered to us in that condition--did they expedite the process. We travel three times a year, spending 2-3 weeks each time at this location, and have booked with Alamo before. However, this experience has us seriously reconsidering whether we will use their services in the future. The entire process was unnecessarily difficult, stressful, and caused significant delays in our travel plans.
Tere and her team were so professional and helpful. I was able to call and talk to Tere even before we landed in Mexico to update her about our arrival. She was so kind and helpful. She explained everything that we needed to know in a manner that was super clear and was willing to go above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. I would absolutely rent a car from Tere and Alamo again in Guadalajara. The experience was one of the best I have ever had with a rental car company. Thank you all so much for your help!
Terrible service, and the "supervisor" was very unprofessional. They did not want to accept my SENTRI passport card and I had to go with Hertz. We waited over 45 minutes at the airport for them to pick us up to go to their office and I had to call them directly because the lady at the airport office never called them. It was very hot and we had our baby with us and we were pretty much left there to figure it out. Once I confronted the supervisor why they wouldn't accept my SENTRI passport card she was whispering to me so the other customers wouldn't hear her. Do not use this place. We also over heard the customer after us had booked a van online but they told him they don't rent vans and gave them an older car as well. Worst travel experience I've ever had.
Absolutely fantastic service, they went out of their way to help us in every way we needed, including multiple shuttle rides to and from the airport. Pricing was good, vehicle was perfect. Will use them again next time.
Service was great but they are like a used car sales person! They will say yes to everything pior to booking and when you arrive the vehicles you chose will not be available, highly recommend to double triple check the vehicle prior to leaving the driveway if it does not feel or look OK speak up. I would recommend using a different car rental.
DO NOT COME HERE.... I rented a suburban here for a few days and after reviewing the car before I left I thought everything was good. Until the dash came out saying that it had only 20% oil life, the tire sensors were off and low tire pressure, and brakes were starting to go bad. I had to stop on the road to buy oil since it was low and have the tires checked out. To top it off when I brought it back the clerk and manger were like the cars let us know when it needs service. I paid $1000 for a luxury car just to be screwed with a unmaintained and damaged car. I was only discounted $10 for the oil I bought for the car. I wouldn't recommend renting any cars here.
Great service, CALL FIRST to get pricing, online pricing on other sites dont include insurance prices. Manuel was professional, nice and handled my reservation as quickly as possible. I rented a SUV and had absolutely no issues with the car.
