Renting a car from Costless care rental in St Lucia was a great experience. This was one of the few occasions in St Lucia that I did not feel ripped off. Andre responded to calls using his WhatsApp number. He gave us the lowest rate that I was quoted and arranged to pick us up at the airport. He even sent a photo of where he would be waiting with a sign. He told us to get International Drivers Licenses which we did that prevented us being delayed going to a police station to get a local driving permit. Everything went according to plan and he picked us up in a comfortable van. He drove us up to Castries carefully and at a reasonable speed. He organized for our hire car to be delivered to us at our apartment. This was done by Helena who was very efficient and had all the paper work with her. She carefully checked the Toyota sedan noting down every scratch and mark. The car was fairly new with a reversing video system. We found driving in St Lucia quite challenging especially when we drove to Soufriere! When it came to return the car Helena came around and picked it up with all the paper work being done efficiently. Next day Andre took us to the airport. He agreed to stop at a very interesting garden on the east side of the island and agreed to charge us $20 an hour while we were walking around which seemed very fair. As it happened he had not visited these gardens so he came with us as we walked around the garden. He got us to the airport on time and only charged us for an hour for our garden detour. We found him to be a very interesting individual with long experience of working on cruise ships and being a tour guide and taxi driver. We cannot recommend him and his car hire company too highly!
Had a really positive experience using cost-less car hire. Andre was absolutely fantastic and gave me a really competitive rate. He was very responsive on WhatsApp before our arrival and was there waiting for us when we arrived at the airport. We booked a transfer and car hire so he when he dropped us off a lovely lady met us at the accommodation with the rental car. We had an issue with our accommodation and Andre went above and beyond to help us in sorting it out. Any questions we had during our stay from trips to finding a local spot to eat he was super helpful and even dropped us some delicious Julie mangos one day!! Thank you so much for everything, hopefully we will see you very soon as we loved St Lucia!!

If I could give this company zero then I would, don't use this unprofessional company. I read the good reviews and contacted them via WhatsApp to book a car, it was more expensive than some other companies quoted but I went with it and arranged it to be delivered to our hotel the next day. The agreed time came and went, no car, ignored my calls and messages and we were left without a car. It was the only day we had to explore the island. I can only assume that they had someone wanting the car for more days so chose to let us down. Do yourselves a favour and choose a different company, there are plenty around. Thanks for nothing Cost-less, or should it be Car-less?

Auto war in schlechtem Zustand. Irgendetwas war kaputt, Auto hat massiv gelarmt, war teilweise unertraglich. Fahrzeugubergabe war problemlos, naturlich wurde jeder Kratzer dokumentiert,obwohl das Auto schon rostete, die Typenschilder am Heck abgefallen waren, die Scheinwerfer blind waren, die Sonnenblenden wenn man sie benutzen wollte aus der Halterung fielen,etc. Wir haben mehrere Mietwagen auf St.Lucia gesehen, keiner sah so gebraucht aus wie unserer. Ruckgabe am Fahrterminal war dann der kronende Abschluss. Wir wollten einchecken, aber kein Mitarbeiter zur vereinbarten Zeit vor Ort. Als alle Passagiere schon eingecheckt waren und wir uns schon erkundigt hatten wo wir den Schlussel hinterlegen konnen, kam dann endlich jemand. Wir schafften den check in gerade so. Es war knapp, da auch die Fahre 12 min eher abgefahren ist.
Car was in bad condition. Something was broken, the car made a lot of noise and was unbearable at times. Handing over the vehicle was problem-free, of course every scratch was documented, even though the car was already rusting, the nameplates on the rear had fallen off, the headlights were blind, the sun visors fell out of the holder when you wanted to use them, etc. We saw several rental cars on St. Lucia, none of them looked as used as ours. Returning to the ferry terminal was the icing on the cake. We wanted to check in, but no employee was there at the agreed time. When all the passengers had already checked in and we had already asked where we could leave the key, someone finally came. We barely managed to check in. It was close because the ferry also left 12 minutes earlier.
