A cheap car hiring service but also a really bad one. We couldn't delay our dropp off time even though our flight had been delayed and we notified the company in advance. Also, no one answered to the telephone number given on their website (or my emails). Their personnel in the physical location was also very unfriendly, and were trying to sell additional insurance and charged a deposit fee that was not part of the initial deal. 1/5.

We actually have nothing bad to say about Turisprime! The rented car, an Audi A1 (slight upgrade from the booked VW Polo), was clean, had all the extras we cared for (Android Auto/Apple Car Play, nice AC, good brakes, working wipers and wiper fluid). There were some light scratches, but nothing too bad, considering the car had already done 55.000 km on the island. The tyres were slightly worn, but we had no problems whatsoever in sandy and even wet conditions. The Audi was also pretty efficient on fuel, considering the layout of the island. The service we received at the rental station was friendly and efficient. We arrived a little later than expected, but the clerk told us on the phone that they would hold the car for up to six hours (if I'm not mistaken). After a little waiting time, we left a 350 Euro deposit and declined any offers for additional coverage, as we hat booked the car via a German intermediary offering to cover any expenses in case of accidents etc. If anything, we had to wait a bit for the transfer from the airport, but the bus ride itself was comfortable and quick. Return was also super easy and convenient. We left the car with a full tank and the guy from Avis checked for any damages (of which there were none, at least no additional ones) and told us that we would get our deposit back in a couple of days. Two days later, I had the 350 Euros back on my bank account. After reading other reviews I wasn't so sure about Turisprime, but we didn't have any problems at all, so maybe they finally took it to heart =)

Missold, the agent asked us if we would like to pay an extra EUR50 for full cover, we declined as we already had insurance in place. He then explains that they need a credit card and they need to put a hold on our card whilst the rental is out, as is standard practice, we then found that he charged our card for the full cover, despite us declining it. This was reported to the help desk and no refund offered. I would avoid this company. I understand why it is so poorly reviewed.

If you're reading this I'm BEGGING you to not rent a car here, it was a literal nightmare for us. First we had already paid for an additional insurance when we booked the car online months ago but when you get to the desk they tell you it is not enough and that you risk being debited 2000EUR if you don't pay for another insurance etc so you end up paying 100EUR more for a week because you know that if you don't pay they'll make you regret it. But that's not the worst. The first day with the car a signal went off because the tires were too flat so we had to go to a gas station and filled them up ourselves. Why didn't the agency checked that before renting the car ? Two days later the car broke down for no reason. We called and they sent a mechanic to pick it up, but nothing was done to give us a new car. After endlessly calling them, Turisprime said they were sending us a taxi to take us to the agency and get a new car. It came 2 hours later (we were in the sun in the heat and they didn't update us on anything in the meantime) and it took us to the Airport North, but once we got there, the person at the Avis desk told us that they made a mistake sending us here and that there was no car waiting for us. We then called Turisprime for the 50th time asking for another taxi to got to the agency in the south (1 hour away by car) and they simply said no. Why ? Absolutely no reason. We called again and again and trust me I've never been talked so badly in my whole life. Their staff was literally insulting us and yelling for no reason although we had been without a car for 7 hours now. We then paid a bus ticket to get to the agency in the South (1h30 by bus) and once we got there no one helped or seemed to care about the problem. We got a new car (at 9:30pm when the first car broke at 12am...) but we didn't get any compensation, they didn't accept to refund the day we just lost, they didn't pay for our bus tickets they just didn't care. Honestly you should run as far away as you can from this company, it will ruin your trip. I'm still blown away by how they treated us, absolutely scandalous.

This has been one of the most horrible experience of my life, would not recommend under any circumstances. We rented a car in Tenerife through Turisprime (which is a group of AVIS) with full insurance paid. The car was new according to them. On day 10 of our 15 days trip, the engine of the car broke in the middle of the highway with no warnings on the car whatsoever, and then took fire. We were lucky to exit the car quick enough and be alive. There has been no help from AVIS at all (did not come to pick us on the highway although said that they will) and then they did not gave us a replacement car. They also charged us 2000 euros although having the full insurance. They told us that they would give us a report from the garage 2 days after the incident to clarify the reason of the incident, and reimburse us if it was not our responsibility (which it isn't). We are now 1 month far and we still have not received any report. They are not returning our calls, nor responding to our emails. They are completely ignoring us. Such an unprofessional and dangerous company.

Firstly, there is no office in the airport (we asked), nor do they answer phones, nor are their pickup directions useful. Here's what you do, exit airport and turn left and go back along the 'A' busses, starts in the 40s, keep going down to A6, the shuttle bus is every 30 minutes. Few minutes on shuttle to their office where they'll offer you insurance, take it. The island is full of crazy tourists who can't drive well, even if you can, this is EUR7/day. On drop off it's very easy, just refuel on way, drive in to carpark following signs for car return, take keys into office, they quickly ask where car is and if you refuelled, if any issues/problems, and you're done. Conclusion, it's quick and easy, shame they don't put this shuttle bus information in the pickup instructions

Great service! We had a very good time with this car rental agency. The price offered for the car via Booking.com was very competitive. They have a shuttle bus service from the airport to the office and back and when they are closed, they leave a voucher to use with taxis. We rented a Citroen C3 in excellent condition, with which we had no problems despite the many kilometers driven in a week. We had to return the car when the office was closed, but they had already given us the voucher to use with the local taxi service, so we left the car in front of the gate, the keys in the letterbox and regularly went to airport by taxi. Well done.

Despite some negative reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. The shuttle bus runs from the airport to the car rental company and back approximately every 20 minutes. You simply wait at the indicated bus stop in front of the airport entrance. The shuttle bus then takes several tourists to various car rental companies. The car was as described and was delivered within 10 minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful. No hidden costs, smooth returns and deposit returned within 48 hours. We would be happy to book there again. Top!

Man wartet einfach an der angegebenen Bushaltestelle vor dem Flughafeneingang. Der Shuttle-Bus bringt dann mehrere Touristen gesammelt zu den verschiedensten Autovermietungen. Das Auto war wie beschrieben und wurde innerhalb von 10 min ausgehandigt. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Keine versteckten Kosten, reibungslose Ruckgabe und Kaution innerhalb von 48 Std zuruck. Wir buchen gerne wieder dort. Top!

Unfortunately the bad reviews are true. When booking with Ryanair, a different contract was presented; the one booked with Ryanair was not possible. The photos of the previous damage were not sent as promised and an alleged damage was promptly found I later discovered that both Ryanair and Turisprime deducted the cost of the rental, with Turisprime charging more than the original booking. To this day Im trying to get the money back. (For 2 months)

Our flight was late. We had given the flight number. We were there before 11 p.m. and no one came to the pick-up point. I tried calling and no one answered! We had to take a taxi and I sent a message to Turisprime through the website, but no one has responded. The next day, the car reservation was cancelled. I do not recommend this place to anyone! The car was booked through booking and the rating was good there. Booking made up for it by giving us a car from Costa Adeje, which we could return to the airport.

Long waiting times due to poor organization. There were 4 switches from different providers. 2x Avis, 1x Budget, 1x Turis Prime. But only one of the Avis counters was occupied. It didnt seem to matter which counter you queued at. Unfortunately there was no information about this. I stood in front of the empty Turis Prime counter for a long time without an employee pointing out that we could also queue at their place. When asked whether other counters would be staffed, the employee replied that he hoped so. Later, more counters were staffed. But it seemed very confusing. So pickup wasnt good, price/performance was still good and return was very good.

Total waiting time 2.5 hours - including waiting for the shuttle including waiting for departure 30-40 minutes + Wait until you get to the counter and processing takes almost TWO HOURS! At first only one of the 5 counters was open - the other two counters were occupied, but one was only for VIP passes and at the other the lady probably preferred to send private messages on her cell phone rather than work. The queue (2 full coaches full of guests who had just arrived) almost went around the building. At the only manned counter, the lady simply went away for 10 minutes to have a smoke outside while the transaction was being processed and left her customers standing there without comment. They tried to sell us insurance quite aggressively, even though we mentioned several times that we had already taken out additional insurance online through check24. When we rejected this, they immediately became very unfriendly and tried to convince us that insurance policies that were not taken out with Turisprime were basically fraud and would not be effective in the event of damage. The car had some damage that was not listed in the handover - recommendation: be sure to film the car from every angle - below and above! Duration of return: 40 minutes - 5 minutes before opening at 8 a.m. there. We didnt receive a confirmation email that everything was ok - although it was pointed out several times that we hadnt received it. By phone after 10! Calls not reachable - for the first 9 calls it automatically hangs up after selecting it in the answering machine. The 10th time I was in the queue for 10 minutes until I had to hang up due to boarding. Emails are not responded to Its better to book a car rental directly at the airport!

Beim einzig besetzten Schalter ging die Dame wahrend der Abwicklung einfach 10 min weg um draussen eine zu rauchen und liess ihre Kunden kommentarlos stehen. Man versuchte uns recht aggressiv eine Versicherung anzudrehen, obwohl wir mehrmals erwahnten, dass wir bereits online uber check24 eine Zusatzversicherung abgeschlossen hatten. Als wir diese ablehnten, wurde man sofort sehr unfreundlich und wollte uns einreden, dass Versicherungen, die nicht bei Turisprime abgeschlossen werden wurden, grundsatzlich Betrug sind und im Schadensfall nicht greifen. Das Auto hatte einige Schaden, welche nicht in der Ubergabe gelistet waren - Empfehlung : unbedingt das Auto aus jedem Winkel - unten und oben genau abfilmen! Dauer Ruckgabe: 40 min - 5 min vor Offnung um 8 Uhr da gewesen. Keine Bestatigungsmail erhalten, dass alles ok ist - obwohl mehrmals darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass wir diese nicht erhalten haben. Telefonisch nach 10! Anrufen nicht erreichbar - bei den ersten 9 Anrufen legt es automatisch nach der Auswahl im Anrufbeantworter auf. Beim 10. mal war ich 10 min in der Warteschlange bis ich aufgrund des boardings auflegen musste. Auf emails wird nicht geantwortet Lieber eine Autovermietung direkt am Flughafengelande buchen!

Im giving one star because you cant give less! SCAMMERS, absolutely do not rent with this company or with Avis. I had booked a rental with arrival at 11pm. Upon landing we found no one and discovered that the rental had closed without waiting for us! Other people present with us were all scammed in the same way. We had to sleep at the airport only to find out the next day that our reservation had been canceled because we hadnt collected the car within 6 hours. But how do you collect a car if they are closed? They gave us no refund or replacement and we wasted 1 day finding a new car plus a lot of money. Be careful of these Thieves. Their reviews speak for themselves!

Considering the endless negative reviews, I was definitely worried when I found myself booking a rental with this company. Contrary to what happened to many, the rental went super smoothly. The staff were extremely friendly and professional when picking up the car, which was quick and easy. When I returned it, however, I was a little hesitant since they hadnt given me/made me sign anything. But after a few minutes the email arrived confirming the return, with all the correct data. After 3 days the deposit was transferred back to me (as they told me there) and I was not charged anything else. Given the low prices and the good experience, I would definitely book with Turisprime again. The only flaw is the location, slightly outside the airport, but in any case easily reachable thanks to the free bus provided which leaves every 20 minutes from place E06/E07 in the bus parking lot. (journey <5 minutes)

Contrariamente a quanto accaduto a molti, il noleggio e andato super liscio. Il personale e stato estremamente gentile e professionale al momento del ritiro dellauto, che e stato veloce e semplice. Alla riconsegna, invece, ero un po titubante dato che non mi avevano consegnato/fatto firmare nulla. Ma dopo pochi minuti e arrivata la mail di avvenuta riconsegna, con tutti i dati corretti. Dopo 3 giorni mi e stata ritrasferita la cauzione (come mi avevano detto li) e non mi e stato addebitato nullaltro. Visti i prezzi bassi e la buona esperienza, prenoterei sicuramente ancora una volta da Turisprime. Unica pecca e la posizione, leggermente fuori dallaeroporto, ma in ogni caso facilmente raggiungibile grazie al bus gratuito predisposto che parte ogni 20 minuti dal posto E06/E07 nel parcheggio dei bus. (tragitto <5 minuti )
