Guy who served us was a top bloke . Very good service from him. We rented a brand new Hyundai i10 for a month. It only had 70km on it when we drove it. Brand new. All the features. Couldn't have been happier. We will definitely use top car again. Oh and the que was non existent compared to the other car rental places.
Booked a Skoda Kodiaq but was given a dfsk (yes you read that right). No apple car play, hell I couldn't even manage to connect to what seemed like an aftermarket head unit so one of the passengers has to act as a phone holder. It is propelled by an enormous 1.5 petrol engine coupled with CVT transmission which forces you to say a prayer and cross your fingers at junctions just to get it going. To add an insult to the injury we averaged over 14l/100km consumption (traveled 350 km and filled up 50l) When I was picking it up 2 other people were given different cars than what they ordered so I feel like this is a common practice!!! At the car park when picking up our Chinese whip there was a Kodiaq waiting to be booked, see photos. Absolutely shocking. I have given 2 stars because it was somewhat drivable. I highly doubt that these comments will help them to improve and provide the best possible service.
Great rental company!!! Totally easy and stress free check in:) all staff members are busy but friendly and very helpful great experience full tank of fuel on return was easy enough to just put keys in a box and job done 2:30am. No hidden fees highly recommended
Booked fiat 500, got Hyundai i10 with screen apple carplay so it enabled easy navigation using saved maps on Google maps. Quite efficient in terms of fuel consumption 5l/100km when we have driven 950km during 10 days so explored entire island. Full insurance made easy pickup and dropoff.
I recently rented a convertible crossover from TopCar in Tenerife, and the experience was outstanding. The car was immaculate - clean, comfortable, and felt brand new. It provided an excellent driving experience with smooth handling and great fuel efficiency. Our friends opted for a Fiat 500, which they found equally impressive. The compact size made parking a breeze while still being comfortable for their needs. Both vehicles exceeded our expectations in terms of performance and economy. The rental process was seamless and the customer service top-notch. Highly recommend TopCar for hassle-free, enjoyable car rentals in Tenerife!
Very good value for money Pros: + Very competitive prices (one of the cheapest around) + Recent models (2 years old cars max as far as I could see) + Received exactly the vehicle I expected in terms of category and spec + Friendly clear & quick staff, not pushy to sell extra insurance/options + Vehicles are located in the main car park next to all the major international rental companies (2min walk from the terminal) + You can drop off the car before/after opening hours (they have a key box at their terminal desk) Cons: - Waiting time to get the car keys was ~30min. But they just seem to be victim of their success as their 4 office desks were all open. - If you don't take the additional insurance you will need to provide a 900EUR deposit which is the market standard. However they will debit it instead of blocking it. And couple of days after the rental period they will cancel the payment. - While the car was exactly what I expected in terms of mechanic, model and spec, it had 62000km on the clock and a lot of visual damages (including two >10cm dents). It was a 2 years old Dacia Duster (1.0 TCe Prestige spec). But well used and with the narrow/small roads of Tenerife, I can understand it got many scratches with time. Had no issue with it. - Only 2 of the damages were recorded on the contract. So I had to make sure I took pictures and emailed to guarantee I wouldn't be charged for them later. - The car cleaning could have been a bit better (especially inside). I think they did it very quickly. But overall it was clean (but not spotless).

Terminal Office: With an office right in the terminal, accessibility is top-notch. Quick Drop-off: Returning the car took a mere 5 minutes, saving valuable time before your departure. Cons: Vehicle Condition: While the car wasn't in optimal shape, the exceptional pricing compensates for this minor inconvenience.
My experience with TopCar Rental was far from satisfactory. Initially, I was taken aback by unexpected insurance charges. Right after picking up the car, I faced multiple issues, starting with noticeable bodywork damages which I reported but was reassured due to being fully insured. Driving off, I was greeted by numerous error messages on the dashboard, highlighting the car's poor maintenance. The solution provided--to return and exchange the car at the airport--significantly ate into my holiday time, which was both frustrating and disappointing. Even the replacement car, which was supposedly an "upgrade," suffered from similar issues, including persistent error messages about tire pressure that I couldn't resolve, adding stress to my travel. This, combined with the observation of another customer facing similar issues, suggested a pattern of neglect towards vehicle maintenance and customer care at TopCar. The whole ordeal detracted from my holiday experience, turning what was meant to be a relaxing time into a series of stressful events. Unfortunately, this has led me to decide not to use TopCar's services in the future, nor to recommend them to others. The focus seems to be more on financial gains rather than customer satisfaction and safety, a perspective that's deeply concerning. Additionally, I found their customer service to be lacking in patience and attentiveness. The representatives seemed uninterested in listening to or addressing my concerns, further exacerbating my frustration. This lack of empathy and effective communication only added to the overall disappointing experience with TopCar Rental.
