Friendly people at the reception, but the claims department treats you unfair. The car was checked by an unknown 'expert' who charged us more than 200eu for some miniscule paint damage. I asked them to reconsider, since the damage is very minor and the damage report wasn't corresponding with the pictures of the damage showed to me, but they refused and insisted on me paying this unreasonable and unfair amount. A shame, i always liked using sixt but i wouldn't reconmend risking it with such an unfair claims department.

When I booked my car at Granada airport, I made it clear that it was for 3 days and that I would return it in Malaga. However, the employee lied to me and made the contract for 1 day, with return in Granada, just to make sure his rate was lower than other rentals. They should change this incentive program that forces employees to lie and cheat. In summary 460 for 3 days. I will never use Sixt again. -- When I booked my car at Granada airport I clearly stated that it was for 3 days and giving it back to Malaga but the employee lied to me and made the contract for 1 day and giving it back to Granada. I booked via the app and Sixt canceled the reservation without notifying me. I have a confirmation email. After showing up at the Granada airport office with my son after a long wait for the van that takes me to their office, they have only offered cars that are more expensive than the ones on my reservation, although in no case was it my fault but rather an error by Sixt. I had to pay for a taxi to the city and look for a car with another company. Sixt, never again!

BEWARE SCAM, We rented a car from the SIXT agency at Granada airport. First of all, the agent tried tirelessly to get us to take a more expensive car and to get us to take out insurance (which we refused). This agent insisted way too much which made the car recovery experience VERY UNPLEASANT. So we decided to take the original car without insurance as planned. We then had no damage during our stay and we returned the car in good condition. As luck would have it, when we returned the car, the check out system was not working, thus not allowing us to check out directly with the SIXT agent. He told us that he would check out the next day without our presence. The next day we received a claim report from SIXT with a photo of a scratch on the bumper asking us to pay the claim. FORTUNATELY we took photos and videos while picking up the car and returning it. Did the SIXT agent scratch the car and then make us take the blame and pocket his bonus?? This is what we think Luckily we took all the necessary photos and videos before picking up the car and after returning it. This allowed us to have dated evidence, so SIXT canceled the damage (still happy) Please note that at no time did the agent advise us to take photos/videos of the car. If we had not taken one we would have had to reimburse SIXT even though we had done nothing. This agency and this agent are therefore scammers who tried to make us pay. SO I RECOMMEND THIS SIXT AGENCY. DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE. Be careful to take photos and just avoid going to this agency.

Tout d abord l agent a essaye sans relache de nous faire prendre une voiture plus chere et de nous faire prendre une assurance ( ce que nous avons refuse). Cet agent a beaucoup trop insiste ce qui a rendu l experience de recuperation de la voiture TRES DEPLAISANTE. Nous avons donc decide de prendre la voiture d origine sans assurance comme prevu. Nous n avons ensuite eu aucun dommage durant notre sejour et nous avons rendu la voiture en bon etat. COMME PAR HASARD, lorsque nous avons rendu la voiture, le << systeme pour faire le check out >> ne fonctionnait pas ne nous permettant pas ainsi de faire le check out directement avec l agent SIXT. Celui ci nous a indique qu il ferait le check out le lendemain sans notre presence. Le lendemain nous avons recu un rapport de sinistre de la part de SIXT avec une photo d une rayure sur le pare choc en nous demandant de payer le sinistre. HEUREUSEMENT, nous avons pris des photos et videos en recuperant la voiture et en la rendant. L agent SIXT a t il raye la voiture pour ensuite nous faire porter le chapeau et empocher sa prime ?? C est ce que nous pensons HEUREUSEMENT que nous avions pris toutes les photos et videos necessaires avant de prendre la voiture et apres l avoir rendu. Cela nous a permis d avoir des preuves datees, ainsi SIXT a annule le dommage (encore heureux) Sachez qu a aucun moment l agent ne nous a conseille de prendre des photos / videos de la voiture. Si nous n en avions pas pris nous aurions du rembourser SIXT alors que nous n avions rien fait. Cette agence et cet agent sont donc des arnaqueurs qui ont essaye de nous faire payer. JE VOUS DECOMMANDE DONC CETTE AGENCE SIXT. NE LOUER PAS DE VOITURE ICI. Faites attention a bien prendre des photos et evitez simplement de vous rendre dans cette agence.
