Paula gave us the best explanation of our car in our language (English) that we have ever received in Europe or the USA. The hours at this location are excellent and the return garage is easy. The car was new and clean with the price as expected. Our rental experience with this Sixt office was exceptional in every way.
On the 12th of September 2024 at 13 I should have picked up my car at Sixt Girona trainstation, which had been hired online and dor which I already provided all my data. I had to hand in my passport to check my identity. My pasport is perfectly valid. The woman said het system showed there was something wrong with the passport but she did not want to say what. She did not want to give me the car. If I had a complaint I would have to wait 5 days for an answer? It was a public holiday! Next day I went to another company and there was no problem. Laat time with Sixt.
Overall, returning the car was an easy process. They did not charge for any damages that weren't already on the car. I would've given a 5 start review if I hadn't received an updated invoice with an unexpected added fuel service charge. We received the car with a documented 7/8 fuel level and we returned the car with a documented 8/8 fuel level. Sixt then decided to charge a fuel service amount, plus a 10 euro fuel amount. We drove the car maybe 10 km from the gas station to Sixt. After contacting Sixt, they did refund the fuel service cost and fuel amount. However, this shouldn't have happened in the first place so pay attention to your invoices.
A+++ service all the way! Friendly staff, easy access from the train station. My car was available upon my arrival. I called and made a change to my drop-off location, it was the most simple process ever. My car was spotless. I will use SIXT from this point forward. Simply the best!!! Blows other car rentals out of the water. Exceptional!!!!

Fraud! I do not recommend this company, they defrauded us of more than 600EUR which were wrongfully taken from the deposit and bank account. The car came back whole and sixt confirmed no damage
I am really dissatisfied. They force you to take a rental with full insurance even if you have a Visa Premier card. On top of that, they are very slow and unpleasant with North Africans. They refused my rental on the pretext that the French residence card is not valid, while a week before I rented from Sixt in Barcelona without any issues using the same card. If you go on a Sunday, beware, as they charge exorbitant prices. In terms of price, I recommend Europcar, which is right next door. Not recommended and to be avoided. They deserve 0 stars.
Absolute scam of a company, yet again. They take pride in renting you a car without paperwork, and say that all existing damages are in the contract which you never touch. You ask how to document the damages before you leave and they suggest you take photos. "But, it's a new car, there are no damages", they say. See the before I left damages on the car. They then tried to say a scuffed wheel (the size of a piece of rice) is my fault. There is no scuff on the tire, there is no way I did this. This company tried the same scam on my friend in Madrid 3 weeks ago. Great check-in process that makes them build your trust, but take care of their proper. Avoid this Sixt or all over Spain at all costs.
