Easy process to rent a car. I was met at the airport, where within minutes I was on my way out to enjoy the island. The car worked out perfectly. Highly recommend this rent a car service in Madeira.
Rented a car here, the communication was perfect, car was clean and although we didn't get a car we ordered, it was a better car. Although the car was not perfect for Madeira roads, it was enough to get around the island and go to hiking spots. Also, a huge plus that there is no deposit and credit card required.

The owner - Abel is a very kind person. Everything OK. On our trips It happened that I slightly scratched a back of the car. Abel was OK with that, no issues. He stayed in a possitive mood. If we get here again, we will definetelly rent a car with this company again.
Hi all, I highly recommend them!! For me it was by the best renting experience ever: no deposit required; staff was friendly and helpful ; they replayed fast on WhatsApp ; the price was fair. I initially had the car (Fiat 500) booked for 5 days but soon after taking it I decided to extend for two more days. There was no problem. I got the "OK" from Abel (Thanks ) on WhatsApp almost instant. They also delivered and picked up the car at the Airbnb. Again. I highly recommend them. Probably the best for car rental in Funchal! PS: What I would suggest to anyone who wants to drive in Madeira : get a more powerful car! It's really nice to drive in Madeira but the roads are twisty with a lot of ups and downs !
We had great experience with Madlobos in Madeira. Friendly and flexible service, offered to drive us to our hotel as we were ahead of booked schedule and the car wasn't ready yet for our use. Car itself was in good condition.
If you travel to Portugal, rent your car from Madlobos! We had such an easy and pleasant experience renting with them in both Madeira and Porto. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful, the process was simple and transparent, the rental was affordable and we were allowed two drivers with full insurance. They even met us at two different airports in both Madeira and Portugal for pick up or return. There were no shenanigans and no extra charges on our credit card when we returned back to the United States. Can't recommend them enough!
Very good and flexible service, no hidden costs. Unlimited mileage, no credit card or deposit needed, full insurance coverage - easy and comfortable. Reasonable prices! We rented a Citroen C1 in Madeira for 6 days, drove nearly 500 km all across the island. It is not too strong compared to the uphills, but enough. Would use their service again.
