I've been renting cars from Avis in Fuengirola, Malaga for the past year, and the experience has been exceptional thanks to Guillermo and Maxi. They are incredibly customer-focused, always engaging, friendly, and fluent in English, making the rental process smooth and hassle-free. Their flexibility and accommodation have consistently impressed me. Whether it's securing great deals or handling last-minute changes, they always go above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I particularly appreciated their professionalism during an incident where the car was damaged. Guillermo and Maxi made the entire process straightforward, providing all the necessary paperwork promptly, which greatly facilitated my insurance claim in the USA. I highly recommend Avis in Fuengirola for their outstanding service and dedication to their clients.

It is a must that accurate photos are taken at the time of hire. Evidently at the moment of handing over the car they are looking for an excuse to find any damage (they check spare wheels, lamps, other strange places). You have to argue. Not recommended. I used to choose AVIS because I thought it was some kind of quality guarantee, now I know it doesn't matter - one shop may demage the image of a brand.

Would never recommend this place to anyone. Rude personel like i read about several other reviews. We can live with that of course, it's just annoying dealing with personel that's unwilling to give a good customer experience. The car worked well, but it was dirty on the outside. Looked like someone had been driving in the mud by the looks of mud splash on the car. The real problem occured when we went to deliver it and the people working there told us that we had scratched the car even though we did not. We did of course not take pictures beforehand and that was a big mistake. Then we could have exposed their fraud. Be careful renting these cars everyone!

Increadably bad service. My husband booked a car via Rentalcars at this Avis office 12th October 2020 (National day of Spain). Office was closed at pickup time 10am and our day trip was cancelled. Now Avis claims the office was opened and will not even pay back what we paid for the car

Terrible service! Unpolite staff. Two old men do everything to take your money extra. Website price 45EUR and they try to"steal" and ask me 75EUR. I was informed office center! No recommend. Btw they was drunk...in the job... no comment.

they do not speak any English in customer service, I cannot belive it, I had a breakdown of the car and nobody could help me because they could not speak English, they should be ashamed of themselves calling Avis an INTERNATIONAL company and not being able to help INTERNATIONAL customers

Very small place, a one man operation so if there are other customers expect a long wait time. When returning the car he inspected everything with a fine tooth comb, I was surprised he did not pull out a magnifying glass to check everything. I had no problems but another customer had a scratch on his car that supposedly was not there originally and a heated discussion ensued. My conclusion is to stick to major rental places like the Malaga airport and skip the local outlets like Fuengirola.

Thank for your comments i had the same issue with this company. They proposed us to subscribe to their insurance and as we didn t do it, when we bring the car back to the agency they finally notice that the lock was broken... very strange as no marks was on it. Finally they asked us to Pay the same amount they asked us first for the insurance... the person in charge was unpleasant to say at least and not very polite... i suggest everybody to avoid this company !!!!
