Portugal Cars in Faro

Great service. There was a queue when I got there so expect a wait to pick the car up

We rented a car from Portugal Cars for our first visit to the Algarve. The email communication was fast and responsive even prior to the trip. I had booked a particular model, which turned out to be unavailable. They emailed me on the same afternoon to offer an alternative station wagon. The pickup instructions were very clear and the pickup process was efficient and business-like. We had a Fiat Tipo Stationwagon (diesel) which was new, clean and had only a small number of scratches on the outside. It was a nice car to drive. The opening hours of their airport kiosk (at the far end carpark) also suited our flights. We were the last flight of the evening into Faro and left on the first flight on a Sunday morning.

The worst experience ever. If you want to return car in the morning you have to pay extra 30euro. Its not in the terms of renting, only at booking terms somewhere. The guy sitting in the office anyway is very mean and not helpful at all. Not doing his job. Only sitting with hands in the pockets. And to answer you. Yes, we rent a car there. Doesnt have to show up with with personal name. Finally to make the whole picture clear - we received back only deposit. We supposed to receive another 40Euro, we send a claim, but until now, no one answered!

For the third time I use Portugal Cars recommended by friends and I just have to rave their excellent service and good cars delivered. And most important, unlike many others, they have a fair price policy and don't try to cheat their customers. Thank you and Keep on the Good Service!
