2 weeks on and i still haven't had my deposit back, called up to ask about it and got told to EFF Off!! Unbelievable

No issues whatsoever. Pedro phoned ready to collect me and my family for the 2 minute shuttle ride from Car Park 4. No queuing or pressured up selling. Car in good condition and as expected. Dropped off car with no issues and promptly returned us all to departures in no time at all.

Little bit hard at first moment. You have to find Their bus, go to their spot its complicated when you are first Time in Portugal . But after all, staff is realy friendly, cars is new, clean and comfortable enough . I came back later whan had to with dirty car and +2k km in mileage and they wasnt angry at Me! And you dont have to leave deposit so its good for poor ones like me

Discovery Cars. Very nice, friendly and helpful team. Straight forward booking and Faro airport pick up process. I had my own insurance which wasn't an issue for them. However it's a requirement to lodge/ pay EUR2,000 deposit - if not using their insurance policy (I think about 10EUR a day). My deposit was returned within 24hrs of the cars return. Straight forward and uncomplicated return process and inspection. Only extras added for me (all were anticipated and at a transparent reasonable rate) were additional driver, airport tax and toll reader.

A pure and utter disgusting company. Wouldn't accept our credit card so we had to pay extra for insurance yet we we're told any tolls we used would be charged to our credit card. Then we were told that the car has a quarter full tank and to leave it back a quarter full. Very strange. It should be full tank and returned full tank. Pure shake down and should be avoided at all costs

Car was brand new, smooth process, quick pick up, and no problems at all. On the way back to the airport we forgot a mobile phone in the van. The company send a driver back to the airport with the phone while we were already passed security. Great service!

Would never use again. From the first moment we arrived at the car place and how the female handed the situation it all was very dodgy. We went ahead with it, car was fine, the usual works, EUR2000 security deposit was a bit much but just went ahead with it. Advertise as a free shuttle but they charge you EUR15 for it. When we approached to leave the car back. As soon as we parked the young guy walked over to two little scratches that appeared out of nowhere. I know things can easily happen. It much of happened with a zip of a jacket possibly so we understood that. We lend got quoted EUR350 for the 2 little lines as they needed to repaint the door. The car we got was already covered in dents and marks which obviously people have paid to fix and the company just never bothered to fix and kept the money. Told them it wasnt a EUR350 job to fix. The young boy phoned his boss who basically said you pay the EUR350 or we keep your EUR2000 deposit. Asked them to provide me with proof once they pay the door and they told me no. Very strange situation and how they handed it was a disgrace.

Having read some of the reviews on here I was a little concerned. I need not have been. The place is a five minute walk from the airport but we hopped on their free shuttle bus which runs from the airport car park. It took us straight away, no waiting around. The staff at the office are helpful and friendly. We collected a new Peugeot 208 which was immaculate. We had no issues during our 10 day hire. We returned it at 8am which is when the office opens. There was no waiting around. The gentleman quickly checked the car and then took us directly to the airport. Couldn't fault them. We booked through the villa agency who use this company and I hope they continue to use them. The price was significantly less than the main players . Happy to recommend them.
