Good experience with ClickRent. Had a new 35k km car. Full insurance was chosen so pick up/drop off was fast and without issues. Only negative things was the dirty windscreen on the inside which made driving nighttime difficult until was cleaned and the tyres which were very noisy.

I booked through a third party, they wanted EUR2000 euro deposit. I didn't have EUR2000, they wouldn't let me use my bank card as it isn't three months in date. On my policy it said EUR1000, I basically paid for the car twice. Dropped the car back and was told they would transfer my EUR200euro back but only gave me EUR89 not sure why and no contact. Disgusting service, actually felt completely ripped off. Actually felt completely vulnerable as I was on my own with three young children and had no choice but to pay the money for the car or would have been stranded.

Just really unreasonably hostile. They rented us out the wrong car (gave us a small semi automatic when we ordered a medium automatic). As soon as they gave us the keys they wanted nothing to do with us - this included the extensively scratched car, scratches which weren't included on our rental contract. We tried to go back inside but the agents just ignored us until we found one that said "just take pictures, that's ok". We had paid online with DiscoverCars and already paid a one way fee but they tried to say it was EUR300 until I pointed out the price on our voucher from Discover and then suddenly it was honoured. Also tried to act like the insurance we paid for with Discover wasn't valid for most things (it was full coverage) with remarks about "well it doesn't cover scratches on the body" (even though it did) and saying "at the end of the day it's our car". It would be nice if that's how insurance works but unfortunately for Clickrent it doesn't. Very odd. I'd steer clear, and if you do choose them, validate everything - especially if you're using a third party agent (check your voucher!).

I booked a car and baby seat for my friends, there flight was a late one and the click rent office was closed. They followed the instructions on how to get the courtesy bus but after waiting for more than an hour the bus didn't arrive, after making lots of calls to click rents numbers we only managed to get answer phones (no help whatsoever) so they went back to arrivals to seek assistance, none was available. Going back to where the courtesy bus should be they witnessed it leaving the airport never to be seen again. I contacted click rent the next morning by email because they still didn't answer my calls and asked if I could come and get the car, they said they considered my friends to be a no show and wouldn't let us collect the car and kept the money I had paid!! Arriving during office hours may be ok but after 10pm they are next to useless and if I could have scored no stars I would have.

Im not a person to write reviews but this one i got to do. I was a little bit skeptical at first cause i saw so many negative reviews but in another hand click rent was showing me a very good deal. All the staff were very good people, they explained everything to us and i had no hidden costs as many people said that they have it. I loved so much the car, and for the price, man it was a good deal. Loved how click rent treated us <3 Just to note, i book a car in Allicante. The car was an audi a1 (economy), it came out to 120EUR for 7 days and im 21 years old, so i payed a little extra for my age.

It's not a bad car rental place, it's just that we won't use them again. No one answered our phone calls (we even called at different times throughout their working hours). We got a different car to what we booked and it was not of the same standard, so that was disappointing. The Click Rent location being away from the actual airport was less convenient than expected.

I would recommend ClickRent. However, check and double check your vehicle before driving off because my car had multiple scrapes around the body work that had not been previously logged. Had I not raised this before leaving I probably would have been held responsible for the damage!! Also, and a little confusing, is the fuel policy. EUR156 was blocked on my card for returning the car empty including a EUR31 service charge. I returned my vehicle FULL but only received EUR125 back. Why did I not receive the service charge back?? It was explained to me that this is hire car policy in general. Leasy's car rental never did that to me. In my opinion this is 'stealth', basically, I paid them for MY operational costs for refuelling the car myself!!! Finally, use your own 'excess waiver insurance ' as it is much cheaper than their own

*updating my review to 2 stars instead of 1 because they ended up refunding the charge. They never replied to our emails/complaint just suddenly refunded it, so we're unclear about the whole situation and the horrible experience was still experienced in the end which really brought down our beautiful vacation time to end on this super sour note so that can't be unchanged.* STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I'm posting the same review as my partner because even though they replied through his review telling us to contact them they continue to ignore us and only reply here to seem like they take action. Clickrent is a company of scammers. Avoid it for your peace of mind. They offer cars at a very low price, so they can find (or forge) a scratch when you return the car and charge you much more than if you had rented from another company. They charged me 260 euros for this "scratch" inside the red circle, which was probably there when I collected the car, but I didn't notice as it's too small. I had rented many cars in the past and this is by far my worst experience with a car rental company. Very frustrated...
