Fantastic experience, highly recommended! 1. The "fast key" option which enables you to pick up and return your car extra fast! You can also return your car outside the opening hours - very convenient. 2. The car was new and clean both on the inside and on the outside. Our model had just over 10 000km mileage. 3. The staff and the office - very friendly, smiling, happy to help. 4. The parking is very well marked, we had no problem finding it. 5. The price for the rental was very competitive including the all inclusive cover without excess - you don't have to worry about any damage and just enjoy your vacations. All in all we were very happy and will gladly use your services again if needed. Kind Regards
We picked up a car hired along side our Ryanair flights. I paid for extra protection but on collection at Alicante was made to pay an additional deposit by a very pushy guy at the desk inside the airport. He also took a payment of EUR130 as a fuel charge. We took pictures before and after drop off to show the car was undamaged. On return we are still waiting for our deposit to be refunded 6 weeks after we came back !!! We are about to become regular visitors to Alicante but shall not use Centauro again or recommend to anyone else

Worst ever - scammed me for a parcel shelf that never been in the car during my rental - Charged my card 750 Euro. The cars instruction manual says that the parcel shelf is model dependent. On top of this they charged me full cover insurance 216 euro, but I was never asked If I wanted it. Customer service is impossible to reach. The car was not cleaned at pickup! Very disapointed with Centauro Alicante!
I found the experience of renting with Centauro to be a mixed bag. The desk staff, pickup and drop off were all fine, although they do not accept AMEX as a payment type for the deposit. As such, I was forced to buy the expensive insurance on my debit card despite having my own separate car rental insurance. This TRIPLED the price of my car rental! Trying to contact customer service during the rental is impossible. I tried contacting them via the telephone, online and via email during my hire and received NO answer. No one answered the phone, no one reposnded to my emails... they were very bad at handling queries during the rental. Very disappointing.
Booked directly through their website with full protection, only 146EUR fuel deposit was needed and we had fast key which is collecting of the vehicle without going to the desk - you don't need to sign any papers if you fill in your information and driving license beforehand through their website/app. Recommend this approach even though its more expensive that through other third parties but you don't have to pay a deposit. Car collection was smooth, the only small problem was we couldn't find the lockers for some time but after that got the keys directly after scanning QR code. The car was a year old, the same model Mazda 6 we booked and had 40k kilometers so it was in pretty good condition. It had a few scratches but it was fine. Returning of the keys was in one minute and the fuel deposit was returned in one day. Overall, recommend Centauro, will book with them again in the future.
Be careful, scammers! they didn't return the deposit price of 200 EUR, I rented the car for 3 days, only used it for 2 days, I drove from the airport to the hotel, then the car sat there for a day and on the 3rd day I returned the car, I drove only 100 km, before returning it I stopped by and filled the tank full of fuel , but this company decided not to give the money! swindlers This company files complaints about negative reviews, doing everything to prevent people from finding out the truth! The price was good, but the desk clerk was very aggressive in his attempt to coerce us to purchasing insurance that was 3X the cost of the car rental. He gave an intimidating warning that any scratch on the car would cost us dearly if we did not buy the insurance. We declined and instead paid a 1100EUR deposit, in addition to the mandator fuel deposit. The whole week though I was concerned because the car already had many scratches, dirty and stained seats, and the sensor on the bumper was hanging off by the wire. I took video of the condition in the dark parking lot, but I was still concerned there would trouble. Thankfully when I returned the car the agent was nice and friendly and did not blame me for any of the pre-existing scratches. This was also unwelcomed because I booked this car and paid in advance on Chase, and the online booking said nothing about required deposits, so this was an unpleasant surprise to be aggressively told I had to pay these deposit - and they had trouble running them on my card
