Super 8 by Wyndham Durango in Durango

Great hotel if you're looking for a comfortable stay on a budget. Staff were professional and friendly. Rooms were clean and very spacious. It could use an updated carpet, but other than that, we had a very pleasant experience.

This is a nice hotel. I travel a lot for work and typically look to save money and this is not your typical Super 8 or budget hotel. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is a full breakfast which is very unusual for an economy hotel as most budget hotels only provide , if at all, a granola bar and coffee. The staff is helpful and polite and they genuinely care which is a testament to management. I have stayed here a few times over the past year and I see updates each time so they are actively updating the hotel. I recommend the hotel for the price it's amazing.

We chose to stay here because it was $130 a night instead of $240 a night in Durango. WORST DECISION OF OUR LIVES. It is not worth it, just pay the extra and stay somewhere nicer. The staff member that checked us in at 2 am came wasn't at the desk (which was fine), we called the number 3 times like the sign on the desk asked us to. She finally came, which again was fine, but she came out very aggressive a rude. We asked her to not speak to us like that and she continued to. It was crazy and so out of the blue. The lamp shade in the room had dried up blood on it and the toilet would never flush all the way. When I spoke with the manager he said "I'm very sorry, she doesn't usually work nights so she was probably just tired. I can't do anything for you." We will never stay there again and I hope no one else has to experience what we did.

Highly recommend. |We were completely happy with our stay. |The pm and am desk clerks were both very polite and helpful, the room was very clean and was much larger than we expected. Everything seemed fairly new, and the room even included a small sofa! The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the towels were nice and fluffy. There was a grassy area just outside the motel that was perfect for walking my pup, and the area even included doggie waste bags and a convenient trash can. Breakfast offered the usuals, plus pancakes! We would definitely stay here again.

Our travel plans changed at the last minute, so we made reservations at the super eight in Durango. The clerk at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. There was no noise we could hear coming from inside the hotel. Unfortunately, we were on the side of the hotel that faced the main road through town. Having the air conditioner on or white noise from the cell phone took care of most of the noise. The only other thing was a chlorine smell from the bathroom. But if that's what it takes to get it looking so good it's worth it. We would stay here again. There were multiple items offered at the free breakfast: pancakes, bagels, eggs, sausage, cold cereal, fruit, and yogurt.

Rooms nice size, at least 2 Queen room was and beds comfortable...GM made sure to take care of AC unit not working well. Would have left otherwise. Breakfast OK and a little something for everyone..... Bath room and sink area very small but we made it work for an entire week.... Staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

I will admit Super 8 would be my last choice but not this one. The reviews are right on. It was why I chose to stay here and it was the best decision. Check in very easy. We have 2 service dogs and they were very accommodating. Rooms were huge and clean. Beds were comfortable and got the best night of sleep on this trip. We had a room facing highway didn't hear it. Breakfast needs improvement. All frozen food cooked in a microwave not a fan of. I have never seen frozen cooked eggs. Coffee juice cereal and muffins. I would definitely stay here again. They guy that took my reservation over the phone at the hotel was awesome and sweet. Found me the best price he could. Don't hesitate to stay here...it was one of the best Super 8 I have been to.
