Megan and Miguel made our experience at this location great. We had a few issues with our vehicle and were happy with their timely response in resolving everything. They also involved the district manager, Rebecca, to work as a team insuring we had a great experience. We appreciated knowing they were available and on our side to help.
There are many things I can say that were great about my experience with Miguel, the branch manager today. He came and picked me up from my job and was very nice and a super cool guy in general. After getting hit by my roommate, my car went into the shop for 10 days. It can be hard to get a car in Durango. I was scheduled to get a minivan. Miguel went above and beyond to get me a new nice elantra. After all my bad experiences with the other rental places, this was a saving grace. Thank you so much, Miguel, and enterprise for saving me today! You are appreciated
Not sure how a car rental company can allow me to rent a vehicle if you have NONE 'available' (despite MULTIPLE vehicles in YOUR parking lot). I booked a car for my honeymoon in Colorado & this has ruined everything - currently having to scramble while holding back tears to cancel hotel reservations & refigure out everything; just how anyone would want to kick off their marriage. Renters BEWARE, this place will ruin your vacation. UPDATE: as the day has gone on, I want to reiterate once again how terrible this place is. If you check their response, you can see they now want me to do more work for them to fix it, despite having my name & date to be able to look it up themselves.... FYI this is the kind of 'CUSTOMER SERVICE' you can expect from enterprise in Durango. Thanks for nothing, Christopher.
We were suppose to get a car @10:30am on Sat and turn it into San Antonio on Monday. They called and said they won't have a car till later. We didn't get a call call for 3 hours later and could not contact them. It was a busy weekend. me and my wife are 55 years old, and are on side of road no where to go in Durango. We decided to get a plane ticket and miss our vacation. Enterprise finally called back to get us our car and we told them we paid for a plane ticket back to Texas. We didn't need the car till Monday, Since we missed our vacation day in Creede, could they change the contract to turn car into San Antonio on Sunday night. They said "No", Its after hours. So we flew back on a plane. The manager did not care, He didn't try to help at all. He said sorry!! we missed our vacation and sat on a bench in Durango.
Had a smooth experience with Enterprise and would rent from them again. The car was small, but so comfortable on my back. To me that was the most important thing.
Worst rental experience ever! And I rented cars in a lot of places... First we made reservations online - it said there were 31 cars available at this place. So we did the reservation, got confirmation via email. Next day when we arrived there was no car waiting for us. The staff was not very surprised by the situation. There was no email saying they cancelled confirmation. We waited for 1 day in Durango because they were telling us that they might find a car for us and that we are first on waiting list (later we got information we are second in line, then via mail that we are third in line....). They just overbook the reservations making you believe that there are cars available and they take no responsability for missleading you. Never ever will I try to rent a car from that company.
I have had an awful experience working with this specific branch and so has my coworker. The instance I had was after driving 7 hours to pick up a reservation we had made, the desk agent was not helpful and downright rude when I was trying to explain my insurance needs to her. About two weeks later my coworker had a flat tire on her rental and the branch said they would replace it with another vehicle for her the next day. When she called to confirm this hours later the individual replied with "I can't do that and I don't know what to tell you I'm looking at an empty lot" I had originally decided not to leave a negative review but after hearing the situation they put my coworker in and the constant unprofessionalism by the workers there, I think it's not just a one off. I will be avoiding using this branch and enterprise entirely because of the experience here at this branch.
My parents had an accident, they needed a rental car but your facility did not have a car to accommodate them, they waited as long as they could and then my sister took them home 700+ miles away. They verified that I could pick the vehicle up for them. Your company said yes. My parents added me to their insurance I showed up the scheduled time and they still did not have the vehicle, but they had a mini van. Fine. We do the inspection and your associate tells me the only thing that matters is the windshield and windows when I was pointing out dents and scratches. I sign the papers and say my parents would return it when their vehicle was repaired. I verified we were all authorized drivers. When they returned the vehicle the fog lights were popped out of their sockets and they said that was body damage, but they could not talk to my mother because she was not on the rental! It was her rental!!! The lights literally just needed to be popped back in, there was no damage around them what so ever! They were rude, dismissive, and threatening. Since then, they do not care. And since then Rachel has called and threatened me that if I don't give them information it will cause me more problems and money, but no one has yet to tell me how much the so called damage cost them! I will never rent from enterprise again! I will never recommend them. They messed up since the very beginning and now they are trying to cover their own back side.
