Nice Hotel with a great location near the RR station and Main Street. Good variety of food for buffet breakfast. We enjoyed the Managers reception in the evening. Lots of close parking. The rooms are located around and above the pool in the center of the hotel which can be kind of noisy in the evening. We would stay here again if in Durango.
This best western has it all! Extremely friendly staff, delicious local coffee, and the best continental breakfast around. Lisa will greet you for breakfast and she is the kindest and most hospitable person I've met! Thanks for such a Fantastic stay!
Very nice hotel and close to downtown, we were able to walk downtown easily! The breakfast was Excellent! Rooms were very clean and comfortable! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking was easy and felt very safe. The pool looked very inviting and super clean!
This is a great hotel, right in the heart of Durango, within walking distance of all the fun. Would absolutely recommend it and would definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly and the happy hour and breakfast were also really good. Check them out if you're in the area!
Great stay , Hot tub was very nice ! Service was great too! The Manager was very helpful and was friendly. The breakfast was ok, could have been better . I would have to say the breakfast was not that bad ,but the eggs and the meat was not very good at all .
Perfectly nice Best Western hotel with the one odd thing being that many of the rooms have no exterior view. I was a bit surprised to realize the one window was a view out to a corridor - after which the curtain was shut. Odd configuration but nothing wrong otherwise. The managers happy hour drinks (why no snacks?) was a nice surprise.
We called for an early check in and they exceeded our expectations! We were greeted with a smile and friendliness we had been missing. The suite was beautiful (just missing a better view) but ample room to spread out and relax and enjoy the space. Pool area and hot tub was very welcoming. They offer free happy hour every evening, and a hot breakfast. The location is at the end of 2nd St so all you have to do is walk down the street and you're in the heart of Durango. Loved this town and wish we were staying longer. Can't say enough nice things about this property!
Hotel is noisy during pool hours because the pool is in the middle of all the rooms. If you have young kids it's probably nice and convenient though. After pool time it was just fine. The place is older and could probably use updating, but the staff were very friendly, the room was clean, and they had a fantastic breakfast. If you have kids it is a good place to stay. The location is good and seems safe but parking is tight. Overall we were very happy with the stay.
