Excellent service! I've recently relocated to Cork, Ireland, and have been using a hired car from Europcar for close to 2 months now. The staff is generally helpful and proactive in addressing your car requirements, particularly Gavin Morgan, with whom I was interacting. He answered all my queries promptly, and helped with the extension of the hire period, as required smoothly taking into account my convenience. I'd recommend Europcar to anyone who needs to hire a car in Cork.
I rented a Peugeot 208 from May 27 to September 10, 2021. Thank you Gavin Morgan and all at Euorpcar for providing the excellent car and making it easy for me throughout. What I liked best about the entire process was the speed and ease of the process. Gavin was always there a phone call or email away for any queries or requirements. Everyone at the rental agency was polite, friendly, and very professional.

The car was real lemon. I booked AC car and got without (unfortunately realized another day). After 10 km drive, lack of oil light appeared and wird sounds from the front wheals screamed. And further more we waited more than hour for the car. I tried to contact their phone number to report the problems, but they were really helpless. Never ever...:(
They tried to charge me an extra EUR29.50 per day -- about $250 extra -- for a prepaid reservation. I went next door to Avis, and their insurance was only EUR40 for the whole week -- and they let me waive it. Europcar are nothing but scam artists. This was my only negative experience of my two weeks in Ireland.
