Enterprise Car & Van Hire - St Stephen's Green in Dublin

My rental price was 60 euros for 3 days and i was late by an hour and 15 min and they charged me extra 60 euros even though it was informed in prior and in the call they never told about this extra charge, if they would have informed it i would have returned on time. Even though the manager gave this explanation , it was the first time i have this with enterprise since last 6 years of using it worldwide. Never here again. Rental agreement : #691D1K

We rented a car, and from the get-go, the rear tire kept losing air. After refilling it over, and over we finally took it into a station only to find out after seven tiny holes, at that point we stopped counting and had them replace the tire. ( there was no spare tire in the car) The inside of the tire was filled with about 2 cups of rubber dust, I have never seen that before. We made a beeline to turn the car in before they closed only to find out they did not close at 5 PM. They close at 3 PM. I received a call the next day asking how everything went and explained that we had a problem with the tire and we replaced it. He said forward me an email with photos and the invoice which we did. I heard nothing back after three emails. I finally called the local number in the US. They forwarded two emails and I still heard nothing back. Then on the third call they escalated the request, I still heard nothing. It seems like Dublin does not like to return their problems/dispute emails and it's much easier to just ignore them.

No troubles with the car company. Enter the St Stephen's Green Shopping Center on the North main entrance (Kings road I think) and find a lift ahead and on the right. Take it to the top of the car park and follow signs to the rental center, it's on the roof of the car park. When returning, enter the car park on the west side of the building (there is a small enterprise sign on the brick wall above the entrance gate) and follow signs to Enterprise. It's really not as confusing as everyone makes it seem.

I want give praise to the amazing customer service provided to my family and myself by Laura. We rented a vehicle and actually needed a larger size vehicle. Laura was able to help us out and was so friendly and accommodating throughout even though they were busy and short staffed. We never felt rushed or ignored. I would definitely rent again from them if Laura was helping us out.

I found St Stephen's Green staff to be terrible! I am trying to file a complaint and have this issue resolved and I can't even get a proper email address because no one responds or they are trying to hide the problem! [email protected] is the email provider but I don't receive a response! Iohana did not honour my car reservation made in advance - upsized the vehicle which I didn't want..., They did not provide the Navigation I requested and paid for in advance..., Charged me some extra fee which she glibly chose not to explain clearly - keep in mind I have come from North America and last thing I need before getting in the car and driving on the left for the first time is to be faced with a problem. I have never had a problem with Enterprise in Canada - USA or on any Hawaiian island! No one is helping and I can't get an email address provided for a superior! No on at Enterprise is being helpful and I wonder if this is a scam run by staff to charge more for less? I have used Wnterprise rent a car and never failed to have my reservation kept and honored until I dealt with Enterprise Rent a Car at St Stephen's Green! I do.not know if this will be resolved while I am still here but I will pursue this when back home if need be!

Pick up was a breeze. Getting thrown to the wolves in downtown Dublin without having ever driven on the left was a white knuckle experience, for sure. We got through our two week vacation unscathed, though. Side note: if walking to the rental car facility, don't make the mistake I did. Google Maps had me walk around to the exit of the car park. It took me a couple of minutes to realize that I needed to go into the shopping center to pick up the car. There is a kiosk in the middle of the shopping center and beyond that there is an elevator with signage to direct you where to go specifically to pick up your rental car.

It can be tricky to find, if you go into St. Stephen's mall, King St. Entrance the kiosk is C18 on the mall map, just around the corner from the entrance. The elevators to go up to the parking garage are right there as well. If you use the inside elevators, then go to the top floor, there will be a few stairs to the exit door...but like 5-6, then exit on a diagonal to the right, thru a white gate, and walk up the ramp and you'll see the Enterprise kiosk (I rented thru My Irish Cousin, but the pickup is Enterprise at St. Stephen's). The other way is to enter from the parking garage side by the hotel Marlon, same thing up the top floor in the elevator...but then you'll have about 20+ steps (see pics) to haul everything up, but you come out right at the Enterprise kiosk. Returning, make sure you put the St. Stephen's parking garage entrance in you navigation, because if you put Enterprise it will not take you to the right spot. Once in the parking garage, circle up, following the Enterprise signs and drop off was simple.

We were very impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the staff here. Both at pickup and later at drop off we were served promptly, and given all the information needed. I had a little trepidation reading reviews of car hire agencies in Ireland, but none of the issues complained of arose. Our car was not brand new, but was comfortable and ran well and economically. We booked through Alamo via VIP Cars. The cost was competitive. Highly recommended.
