It was the first time picking up a car at this location. I was given a key fob with a low battery warning. The agent assured me it was a new battery and probably just hadn't updated yet. I took her word for it but that wasn't the case. She didn't go over anything. We had the wrong manual for the car. We had to look up a video to find out how to put it in reverse. There was only a quarter of a tank of fuel which was less than ideal. We filled up as soon as we got out of the city. I didn't bother prepaying for gas on the return like I normally do. I got an email with the incorrect return date for the car. Then a corrected one and a phone call the morning we were leaving. The agent when we returned the car was nice. There were no problems on that end. Fortunately, we made it through our stay without the battery dying.
Just terrible. I received a fraudulent charge of several hundred dollars nearly two months after I left Ireland. I left a review about this yesterday asking me to contact them to help resolve this... this was after hours when they were closed. I woke up early US time today to call again and none of the phone numbers can be called from America. They aren't interested in customer service or resolving issues only lip service and stealing your money. If they actually wanted to fix this they would either call me or simply cancel the charge. Beware of enterprise and these credit card thieves.
We were unavoidable late returning our car rental. Dublin was a parking lot. When I returned the car the next day late, they were very kind and understanding and didn't penalize us for being late. Great staff!
If I could give 0 stars I would do it. I rented so many cars with enterprise in Cork, but this was the worst experience ever. I specifically called the branch and told them I only own a BOI Debit card and a German drivers license and have my proof of address with me as well as I am a Cork citizen. I was confirmed via telephone that I could rent a car as before with those. When I arrived at the branch after taking a 20 EUR taxi drive there , the Store manager who was extremely dismissive refused to rent the car which was prebooked via telephone , to me. She was not helpful , didn't try to find a solution and just did not care. We had to take the bus then to Belfast - where we THEN again rented a car with enterprise with no issues and with my debit card. Our whole weekend was nearly ruined because we arrived very late in Belfast and had to return the car way to early. I want some compensation for this, the taxi fare for sure and 50EUR of the rental price which was 109 GBP . I am shocked and disappointed of this kind of costumer service
Great staff that work hard. If you reserve a time make sure you are there by that time (we noted some people came late and lost their car that was ready for them and had to wait longer). Additionally they asked if we wanted a free upgrade which was a nice bonus! We went through Irish cousin for a $0 deductible which was made our trip less stressful.
Hannah, who works on Sundays, is an absolute saint. We arrived right as the roads shut down for the hurling match and all the roads were blocked off, and all the machines were shut off. Thankfully, she found an iPad and was able to get us up and running in an automatic vehicle for our trip, and helped us get out of the area easily and safely. I cannot emphasize how thankful we were for her commitment to customer service, her scrappiness, and kindness.
I had an extremely negative experience with Enterprise Rental Car. They acted in bad faith by withholding my deposit and claiming that the tire cost EUR250 to replace. The car already had some wheel marks from previous rentals and a mark on the side of the tire that they said occurred during my rental. I tried to argue that the damage did not happen with me, but they did not accept my justification. Enterprise insisted that the tire needed to be replaced and withheld my deposit. This lack of transparency and the attempt to create a nonexistent problem, in addition to inflating the repair cost, show a total lack of consideration and ethics on the part of the company. I do not recommend this rental company due to the terrible experience I had. Avoid Enterprise Rental Car to prevent going through the same troubles.
I had an excellent experience with Enterprise at Dublin Airport! Despite a short 15-minute delay when picking up the car, the staff made up for it by upgrading us to a better vehicle, which was a lovely surprise. The car was in great condition, with only 20,000 kilometers on the clock, and we had no issues whatsoever during our rental period. The return process was also seamless and efficient, taking only 3 minutes to complete. We were then whisked away to the terminal in just 7 minutes, which was impressive. The staff were friendly, professional, and made the whole experience hassle-free. I would highly recommend Enterprise at Dublin Airport to anyone looking for a reliable and excellent car rental service. Well done, Enterprise!
