EasiRent Dublin provided a hassle-free car rental experience. I have rented almost on a weekly basis since the past 4 months. The booking process was simple, the car was clean and reliable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Do not rent here. Fair warning. Broken car with mirror held on by duck tape. There were multiple service lights on as I drive. Nervous would need to be towed. Also listen to everyone about the unbeknownst insurance.
Ali was excellent! *5/5 Stars* "I had an excellent experience renting a car from Easy rent. - Friendly and efficient staff - Wide selection of clean, well-maintained vehicles - Competitive pricing and transparent fees - Convenient pickup and drop-off process - Excellent customer service I rented a SUV for 6 days and was impressed with its condition and performance. The staff were helpful and answered all my questions. I highly recommend EASY RENT for your car rental needs! - Vehicle quality: 5/5 - Customer service: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Overall experience: 5/5
AVOID! I used to use Easirent regularly and I understood how their system works to ensure not to get screwed over. Sadly, there are completely new staff at their Dublin facility from a few years ago. They are very poorly trained in customer service. I was screwed over by them twice in the past few months, trying to give me vehicles different to the ones I ordered, on one occasion I had to wait for 5 HOURS, before I got the car I ordered! I've vowed never to use them again. Off all their scams, the biggest is how much they charge you for using the M50 Dublin toll (Which most people driving from Dublin will use). As well as charging more for the toll than it actually costs 3 euro, rather than 2.50, they also add a 10 euro admin fee, even if you just use the toll once. On my last trip I used the toll once and it cost me 13 euro! Add that up to the 'cheap' deal Easirent are offering and you'll probably find the more reputable companies are cheaper. They've also increased the amount they hold on your card to a ridiculously high amount, done no doubt to screw over unsuspecting tourists arriving thinking they've got a good deal. Every time I go to Easirent there are foreign tourists being scammed into taking unnecessary extra insurances. Also be VERY careful about taking photos of any damage when you pick the car up. They try their best to find faults to charge you for damage. The company is a disgrace. DO NOT USE EVER!
SCAM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS. Gave us a broken vehicle, took 8 hours to even get a tow truck called, and took almost zero accountability. Within 24 hours of receiving the rental, we gave it back and requested a refund. For others who need a refund, GO THROUGH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY, they will not give you ANYTHING.
Shockingly bad! Avoid like the plague. Rude, cheeky, unhelpful staff. Zero customer service. I paid twice for insurance as the Spanish parent company 'CarJet' don't have insurance in Ireland though made me pay it online... When I rang to say the car had broken down and I was in a hurry to bring someone to the airport I was told I'd have to pay an "abandonment fee" and then if the car was working when they arrived I'd have to "pay for the rescue mechanic" to come and service the car! Dreadful experience. Replying to customer service response: I spoke with L, the manager today, I'd been trying to speak with her since Wednesday! Didn't return calls. (I won't give her full name her for GDPR reasons.) She was aggressive and dismissive, she told me I mustn't have turned the key in the ignition. I'm driving over 30 years how insulting is that! There was a service error in the car, see photo, a spanner etc., I was assured by the mechanic (nice man when I got the car first) that it was ok. L said the car has been inspected since I used it and it's perfect. She told me to read the contract, that I'm not getting the two days money back that I didn't use the car... I didn't want a row, or to have to write a bad review, but I felt I was left with no choice. I will email customer service again. Not expecting much to be honest as this is day four and I've been ignored, manager conveniently never in and doesn't return phone calls.
We had such a good experience. They were easy to communicate with and gave great service. No issues whatsoever. Ruben and Liezl were so kind and helpful.
Poor and unprofessional service. I rented a car at this company for 3 days at the end of April. Firstly, the car was poor in condition, full of scratch at the body with over 80000km mileage. Secondly, their staff charged me insurance wthout quote the price to me when the staff preparing the rental document. He just told me if no insurance provided I need to pay deposit with my credit card. My booking was through an agent call VIPCARS and already including insurance. However, they still requested me to opt in their insurance without providing quote. I felt their staff was unprofessional and requesed them to refund. In my experience, every car rental company would provide the quote of insurance to customer before charing them. And there are a insurance policy to state the liability and excess clause. But the rental car company never sbow me the document even though they charged me on this. But they replied me that the insurance services was finished and they will not refund to me.
