We rented a VW Cali Ocean from Blacksheep for the ultimate Mayo road trip over the June bhol weekend It was everything we could have dreamed and more!! The van is exceptional. Brand new, excellent smooth steering, responsive brakes, great acceleration, brilliant features. The van has all the toys including display panel, pop-up roof, shower head attachment (for cold hair washes!), and awning. The leisure battery is second to none and we managed a number of wild camping nights without having to charge up anywhere (we didn't run the fridge). It was a pleasure to drive the van and long drives were a doddle. The automatic gears added to the ease of the drive. The small height of the van (2m or so) meant we could fit into many places other bigger vans could not! The mileage on a tank of diesel was excellent. Compared to other campervan companies I would not go anywhere else. We had originally booked with Indie Campers but after getting spooked by bad reviews, we switched to Blacksheep. Blacksheep is excellent value, no hidden extras, and the pickup and drop off was smooth. Paired with a brand new van - we were happy out!! I'm not sure how many Irish customers go to Blacksheep as it's a French company for mainly French tourists. But don't worry! The left hand drive is grand and is actually a comfort on the smaller roads around Ireland. The control panel in the van is also in English. If you are living in Ireland and collecting your van, just bear in mind there is nowhere to park your own car while you're on your trip. Arrive by taxi or lift! I couldn't recommend Blacksheep enough. As the French reviews say, book with your eyes closed!!

Brand new vehicle. Got to the place without any prior reservations or any sort of pre-arrangements because the company down the road we looked into wasn't working, nonetheless we got a California Van which was a new shipment so it only had around 300km. The person in charge was also very friendly and gave us some recommendations for the trip. Can recommend!

We rented a camper van from Blacksheep Van Dublin for the long bank holiday weekend (5 days). The van was brand new, very clean and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the rental process. We especially appreciated the extra touches, like the fully-stocked kitchen and the comfortable bedding. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to explore the beautiful Irish landscapes in a camper van.

Fantastic company to deal with. Come the person that runs the agency is excellent to deal with. We really enjoyed the experience, the van was modern and spotless. The price was very reasonable in comparison to other companies. Would highly recommend Black Sheep and will be back for another trip soon. Thanks again

Great place to rent a van and explore all of Ireland. The van was equipped with everything you would need for a camper van trip. The steering wheel was on the left side which I think was very helpful when driving on some of the very tight roads throughout the country. Just make sure someone in the passenger seat to pay and tolls on the highway. We also enjoyed the height of the VW camper van since it allowed for us to fit in parking garages, when in busier towns. We do lots of traveling and would definitely plan on doing business with black sheep again.

Absolutely the best. The van had everything I needed. It was fancy, shower, fridge, stove, and dishes included. It was such a great way to make it around the land! There's lots of free places to park and sleep. The van could fit 4 people sleeping comfortably. Also the staff were super friendly and helpful. I want to do this again!
