Ademas se encuentra mal senalizado al llegar, ya que no tiene oficina como tal. Esta en el punto de informacion del centro comercial. Suerte que llamanos antes y un empleado muy atento (Pablo) nos lo explico.
5 stars for the staff 5 stars for the vehicle 2 stars for location. Eye! It is not in the "center", it is in the "shopping center" 1 hour walk from the center. Furthermore, it is poorly signposted upon arrival, since it does not have an office as such. It is at the information point of the shopping center. Luckily you called us before and a very attentive employee (Pablo) explained it to us.
Por trabajo alquile un coche durante menos de 24 horas en el aeropuerto de San Sebastian "ve a verlo y haz fotos de lo que veas, que no se te cobren desperfectos que no sean cosa tuya" se me hizo dejar un deposito de mi tarjeta bancaria, 700 euros, y hace ya mas de una semana que he devuelto el coche y sigo teniendo bloqueados esos 700 euros. Ya he hablado con mi empresa para que no alquilen ahi nunca mas.
For work I rented a car for less than 24 hours at the San Sebastian airport "go see it and take photos of what you see, don't be charged for damages that are not your fault" I was made to leave a deposit on my bank card , 700 euros, and it has been more than a week since I returned the car and I still have those 700 euros blocked. Tienen mucho que mejorar. Empezando por la ubicacion, lejos de los vehiculos, en medio de todo el barullo de un CC. Los vehiculos no estan del todo limpios en mis tres ultimas experiencias la limpieza de las furgonetas no estaba a la altura de lo esperado han de mejorar. El personal bien algo estresado , especialmente agradable Pablo.
They have a lot to improve. Starting with the location, away from vehicles, in the middle of all the hubbub of a CC. The vehicles are not completely clean. In my last three experiences, the cleanliness of the vans was not up to expectations, they need to improve. The staff were a bit stressed, especially nice Pablo.
Three stars for the new and clean vehicles. Zero for service. After arriving at a closed shopping centre in a parking lot on a rainy day, and failing to find a thrifty branch, we called up and were laughed at. Turns out thrifty and Hertz are the one and the same. You'd only know if you saw the branding on the office entry. It's the size of my thumb. We rented a car via an aggregator called Rental Cars, pre paying EUR106 for the vehicle + EUR50 for "full protection" (insurance) by Rental Cars. The woman at Hertz tried to upsell us on their comprehensive insurance package (EUR100+ for two days). Told them we already had cover via Rental Cars to which the Hertz rep got a bit funny, still trying to convince us to commit to their insurance as RC's wouldn't suffice. (Hertz said this was a commission, not insurance. RC's booking voucher says otherwise). TL;DR be prepared to fork out more than you think.
Fast and courteous service. Rented a fiat 500. Clean and well maintained. Recommend.
