Hertz Car Rental - San Sebastian Oiartzun in Donostia-San Sebastian

Google Maps shows wrong location- right location is Carrefour. The staff are kind and very serviceminded- they collected us as we were standing at their old office. They explained the conditions of the hire, and did not as often happens in other car rentals, try to make us buy extra insurance. They also helped us find e-mail address to other Hertz office were we return the car. Good experience in all!

THIS LOCATION IS THE WRONG LOCATION OF HERTZ! The correct location is near San Sebastian in Oiartzun, Type in ,,Oiartzun CTRA MADRID-IRUN, KM469" in google maps and will find the correct Hertz location next to Carrefour. Other than that: great car, good service, will come back

Miguel and Begonia at this location were lovely and very helpful. They would be well served to have some additional signage indicating where in the Shopping Center the desk is (inside by the food court) and where you drop off the vehicle (in the underground parking garage).

Muy dificil encontrar la caja para dejar las llaves . Por favor mejorar la senalizacion. There are charging stations close to the hertz parking, but the location is outside the mall . The car was great , also the pickup service . I am rating 3 because it took us like 1 hour to find this key box.

We rented a car from Barcelona and returned it at this Hertz location in San Sebastian. After reading other reviews, I decided to leave the car near the other Hertz vans, which is across the street from the Eroski gas station (good gas prices if you need to fill up before returning) on Garbera Bidea. I also made sure to return the car during their unusual working hours. I ran inside and found the Hertz desk in front of the padthaiwok restaurant. The woman working there was very nice but seemed a little stressed. She said just to leave the car keys and she'll find it later but when I expressed concern that something might happen to the car and I would be charged for the damage, she escorted me to the car and did a check including the gas level. She said normally when returning cars you should park in the underground parking lot. She was also nice enough to call us a cab so we could get back to our hotel.

Returned a car to Hertz at Garbera shopping centre in San Sebastian this morning. We parked in a back parking lot next to Hertz vans and went in to the centre to Hertz counter. The guy came out with me to assess the car etc. He was very helpful and friendly and extended his assistance to get a taxi for us. We were extremely happy with his service and would recommend Hertz to anyone else based on our experience. Thankyou

Great service but almost impossible to find. Had to come back another day as we spent so long looking it was siesta time and they'd closed for the afternoon! Fortunately we were only looking to make a small change to our booking and not actually pick up a car. Having read multiple reviews it seems the kiosk moves location on a frequent basis... it is currently located on the ground floor of the shopping centre at an information desk, see attached photo.

The pick up location is great, it's inside Garbera shopping mall. Hertz counter is just by the escalator to basement 1 carpark. Drop off the key is tricky. It was a holiday so counter is closed. The key box is not inside the mall. See the photos. It's outside and u can only identify the box when u are right infront. They can do some signage for sure but they are not. I am not sure where to park, hopefully they won't charge me as I walked ard the mall carpark 3 times I cannot locate any hertz lots Mini Cooper definitely was a great car. But it's dirty. The windscreens were blurred I had to wipe them. The tire pressure was low. Maintenance can be better. Overall it was good and I will recommend it.
