Very hard to find. It's inside the parking garage on the right, but signs are tiny and hard to see, especially with ongoing construction. We drove past without seeing it first time and had to circle around. Once inside garage all is fine.

The line hasn't moved an inch in 30 minutes. 20 mins later - Lots of drama, crying and 2 couples in front of us were turned away. We're now behind 2 others 1 hour later - We got our car keys. We're Avis Preferred customers, please provide what's promised.

We wanted to have lunch in the center of San Sebastian today, but impossible to park, everything was blocked by the police. After 1h30 of trial we gave up and left. On the internet we discovered that the city would be a future ZFE which is very good. However, no information, no communication or explanation. No shuttle set up to go to the center.. It was really very disappointing and frustrating... the municipality should really work on communication it would work much better and merchants would not lose customers. The city is so beautiful...

Cannot find your office to return car in San sebastian. I see on the reviews that avis knows of this problem and nothing has been done to fix your location on Google. I've missed a morning of my holiday to try and find your office!Tried calling your office in the morning no answer. Called your Barcelona and Madrid office to get someone to come fetch the car. I will try one more time now after 4. If I don't get your Office I will leave your car at my hotel with the keys at reception! Not waiting any more valuable holiday time on Avis San Sebastian! Thank you! PS. I've paid for 3 days road side assist so you can see this as road side assist to come fetch your car!

Yes, tricky access but good customer service overall. Young man was super efficient. Renting a car next week again with Avis but this time arriving from Segovia and wondering if I can park it there at the Bus Station Avis lot while visiting San Sebastian. Btw phone gives a fax sound.

We are visiting the area and decided to hire a car to drive to Bordeaux. The experience went very smooth. Our SUV was automatic and very nice. Personal was helpful and did not have any problems, they gave good instructions. It was pricey though.

The woman at the Avis counter was very helpful. Excellent service to pick up the car. However, not good service dropping it off - i received the invoice and noticed we were charged EUR31 euros for gas even though we filled up the tank .5km from the bus station! Be careful to keep your receipt for gas and take a picture of the fill tank. I initially gave this place 5 stars but now giving it 3 stars since they cheated us on the fuel. *update*. Avis North America gave us a refund of the fuel surcharge after I complained and showed the receipt for the fuel. Important notes: when you return the car, do NOT use the GPS from the address on the website. Go to the bus station parking garage and return the car there. It's confusing because GPS will bring you to another garage on the other side of the bus station and it's not correct. Just head to the bus station garage -2 level.

Perfect! Avis is always a reliable rental brand, but the San Sebastian location is super easy to navigate for both pickup and returns. The agent was super helpful, we rented for just one day and it was a very easy after-hours return in the bus station garage. Finally, I always get nice vehicles from Avis, brand new Seat Leon diesel that was a pleasure to drive!
