You can't do better than Autos Martina if renting a car in Lanzarote, unlike other renters with stalls at the airport, everything is insured in the first price you are given and there is no excess should you actually have a mishap. They have no airport kiosk but if you book ahead with your flight number and date they meet you and hand over the car in the airport car park and you return it to the same bay. We have been renting from them for 20 years without ever having a problem with the cars or the service.

Very good ! Always used the big companies before. Car was older but fine . PS45 for a day . No excess . 2 drivers on insurance. No extra charges. It's clearly stated that 1 day hires are subject to 100 KMS. Good family business. Lady on desk helpful .

We have booked with Autos Martina, through Lanzarote Villas Direct, on six previous occasions and the level of service has always been 100%. They have always been there to meet us at the airport, no queuing and a very quick sign-up. We have had small cars, big cars, convertibles and they have always been fine. The drop-off at airport is painless and we have never had any come back. We have booked again in July!! Fully recommended.

My Wife and I popped in here as another car rental company had left us high and dry. We just assumed we would be offered a high price deal with a car choice which would be far from ideal as this was so "last minute" Nothing couldb be further from the truth. Service was really good, very efficient, everything was made simple and easy. We wanted a small car and were given an Aygo. Car was really clean with a full tank. Price was 320 Euro for 8 days. which included full insurance (no excess), breakdown cover, unlimited mileage, absolutely no hidden extras. Only deposit was 50 Euro which was returned to as without issue when we returned the car with a full tank. Given we had just walked in from the street and wanted a small car asap, the service was just great. I really would recommend these guys as everything was above board and honest. We got what they said we would get and all done very simply and efficiently. We were served by a lady in the office who was helpful and kind. Sometimes when car rental people realize you come from Switzerland they "try it on" for some reason, but NOT here. Cannot fault in any way and would strongly recommend.

Very warm welcome from the gentleman who explains to us directly that the kms are limited to 100 over a day but that from the second, unlimited mileage. 60 deposit for refueling which is returned on return of the car if refueled. Practical because right next to the hotel, but price level, less advantageous than the competition because 90 for two days for a Fiat panda, while we paid 66 for two other days for a Fiat 500xl (without deposit) at competition a few hundred meters away in the neighborhood

Most rental companies no longer had cars or the prices were prohibitive, so Martins car saved our holiday in Lanzarote. The car was not the newest and had some technical problems, which were solved after calling the owner. The largest of them is a broken cable to open the fuel filler. So you are standing at a gas station with an empty tank and you cant pour fuel into it.
