Fantastic service from Cecilio and the Autos Famara team. I needed a car from the airport at short notice late on a Saturday evening and this was no trouble - a smooth and easy pick-up. I was also able to off-hire the car in Playa Blanca after a few days and Cecilio arranged to have it picked up - again, a simple process. Brilliant service and will use again.

I posted a review some days ago but for some reason it is not showing! Basically we rented a car from this company for 5 days. Everything was straight forward, no deposits and not blockings on your credit card. What you pay includes fully comprehensive insurance. We had the car rental office next to our hotel and we were told to leave the keys with the hotel reception any time we wanted on our last day. Excellent service. Thank you
Tres desagreable. Nous a fait patienter 20 minutes le temps de finir sa conversation telephonique avant de nous dire bonjour. Etant de jeune francais, nous etions carrement pris de haut, elle n'a fait aucun effort pour essayer de se faire comprendre. Nous avons quand meme loue une voiture (6jours/ 160EUR), nous avons souhaite loue la voiture un jour de plus, elle nous dit de venir a l'agence pour regler la somme mais nous previent pas du montant pour la journee. Sur le devanture du magasin ont voient que 7 jours = 170EUR . Et elle nous reclame 50EUR pour la journee.... ne comprenons pas vraiment cette somme, elle se met a hausser le ton en anglais ! Nous lui avons rendu les cles. Je ne recommande pas du tout cette personne, tres hautaine.
Very unpleasant. Made us wait 20 minutes while he finished his phone conversation before saying hello. Being young French people, we were totally taken aback, she made no effort to try to make herself understood. We still rented a car (6 days/EUR160), we wanted to rent the car one more day, she told us to come to the agency to pay the amount but did not warn us of the amount for the day. On the front of the store we see that 7 days = 170EUR. And she asks us for EUR50 for the day.... we don't really understand this amount, she starts to raise her voice in English! We gave him back the keys. I do not recommend this person at all, very haughty.
wir waren letzte Woche fur eine Woche im H10 Lanzarote Gardens und wollten die Insel mit dem Auto bereisen. Als wir an der Autovermietung vorbeikamen, haben wir einfach mal reingeschaut und wurden freundlich empfangen und beraten. Wir haben ein Opel Corsa fur 4 Tage gemietet. Die Ruckgabe war promlos, denn wir konnten unseren Schlussel an der Hotelrezeption hinterlegen. Das Auto war sehr sauber und war fur unsere Zwecke ausreichend. Fur die benotigte Kindersitzerhohung brauchten wir nichts bezahlen. Was auch sehr positiv ist, dass in dem Preis alles enthalten ist, auch eine Vollkaskoversicherung, also keine versteckten Kosten. Vielen Dank fur den netten Service und weiter so.
We stayed at H10 Lanzarote Gardens for a week last week and wanted to travel around the island by car. When we passed the car rental company, we just popped in and were given a friendly welcome and advice. We rented an Opel Corsa for 4 days. The return was easy because we were able to leave our key at the hotel reception. The car was very clean and was sufficient for our purposes. We didn't have to pay anything for the booster seat we needed. What is also very positive is that everything is included in the price, including fully comprehensive insurance, so there are no hidden costs. Thank you for the nice service and keep it up.
Alles war prima. Sehr unkompliziert! Ruckgabe einfach bei der Rezeption am eigenen Hotel. Wir hatten einen Polo gemietet. Der Wagen war neu (730km !) und die Motorisierung passte auch zu den Gegebenheiten hier auf der Insel. Immer wieder gerne.
Everything was fine. Very uncomplicated! Simply return it to the reception at your own hotel. We rented a Polo. The car was new (730km!) and the engine also suited the conditions here on the island. Always my pleasure.
Reserved a car to find they had hired it out to someone else, and told "no cars left" Yes we were 20 mins late, partly due to the sign on the door saying "back in 15mins when we arrived. Had to walk back to the hotel with heavy shopping that we bought while waiting for the office to re open. Hired a car from the hotel instead, same price, less faff and better service. Won't bother with Autos Famara again. If you hire a car from these jokers, make sure you have a backup plan.
