Arrived to rent a car on the day, straight away as the previous day everything was closed due to fiesta. He was more than happy to help, and provided us with some options, no problem at all. We rented the bigger, more powerful car to go up and visit Teide. Formality took a few minutes and we got a car for the full day, return whenever. Brand new Volkswagen Taigo for EUR65, very clean inside and gave us a day to remember.

Excellent service! Fast. Efficient. Without reservation. I had a Fiat for a couple. Cheaper than other agencies. New cars.I also suffered damage, someone else was at fault. I wrote paperwork for insurance and Tropic was great and didn't charge anything. As soon as I returned the car, they returned the warranty. Many rental agencies would dispute this. Tropic was understanding. We have nothing but thanks and will recommend Tropic Rent a car. Thank you Tropic!
This was the easiest experience I have ever had renting a car. We rented a car with Tropic three separate times on Tenerife and each time I called same day, no reservation, and they brought the car to my location within 20 minutes. Returns were so easy too. They picked up at the drop off point, I didn't have to go to an office or anything, and on the last day we dropped it off at the airport, a different location from where they brought it to us. Reasonable rates, fuel efficient cars and excellent service.
We rented a car from July 29 - August 13 2021. There were few opinions, but positive ones. E-mail confirmation of the reservation, no prepayment, no credit card. The service was waiting for us at the TFS airport. We got a new Nissan Micra car. Cash payment, no credit card required, full insurance. Very nice service. We put the car in the same place in the parking lot. Vehicle without fuel, return without fuel. We highly recommend a professional company with very good prices (21 euro per day). We recommend to anyone, professionally for a good price, a new functional car. Strong 5 stars.
I am writing a quick review to share my great experience about renting a car in Tenerife with Tropic rent-a-car. They met me in the hotel lobby and it only took 10 minutes to do the paperwork. A very reasonable price per day and the car was very new and just perfect for zooming all round the island. When we decided to stay on for another 2 weeks I phoned Eduardo at Tropic and he gave me a super cheap deal to extend the period. Just done over the phone and using my cc details. At the end he told me just to leave the car at the airport which was super easy. All in all the best car rental experience I have ever had. A perfect car, a great price and super service from Tropic.
