Made the process of hiring a car simple. Friendly staff and hassle free process on pickup and drop off . The app is really good. Only negative was the 20/30 minute que to collect at the airport. All other agents desks were empty which I guess is a credit to this company.

Car rental is in the center of Costa Calma. It is very popular rental therefore it is better to book the car at least day in advance. Cars were nice, quite new and for very low price. I have asked in other car rentals as well but others were at least 30 % more expensive. Great choice.

Before renting a car, I didn't know about this company. I found it online, where I registered and reserved a car. The prices are reasonable, and the cars are new, nice, and clean. I'm very satisfied. They had no problem when I wanted to extend the rental period. You just need to contact them a day in advance.

So far I have rented twice from Cicar, the first time, the car had a message appear on the dashboard that the service was overdue by nearly 7,000km! It also did not have any soap in the windshield wipers, just water (due to delayed service I imagine) not great considering the price you have to pay, all of the cars should be serviced timely. The second time I rented a car there, was better, no messages from the car and it was actually a newer car with less mileage. It appears you can sometimes be lucky or unlucky with the type of car you get. Price is okay, it works out around PS27 per day and minimum you can hire for is 3 days, it's a shame you can't hire for just one day minimum. Final point, I called the main Cicar office to rent the car, from Thursday evening to Sunday evening and when I went to collect the car at the local office in Costa Calma, the lady was upset because their office closes at 2pm on Sunday and my drop off time was 6pm (she said verbally but online it says 12pm) so she showed me where to drop off the keys. I did not appreciate her attitude as she was expressing her frustration to me, when this is not my problem, clearly the company needs better internal communication to avoid these situations, don't take it out on the customer.

Amazing experience with Cicar. If we come back to other Canary Islands we will definitely choose Cicar again. I booked Opel Mokka, we got similar Peugot 2008 which had 36k km so it must have been 2-3 years old maximum. It was very clean when we collected it. I highly recommend booking the car on the website or application. With the reservation I picked up the car in 5 minutes. Compared to other rental cars we saw on the roads of Fuerteventura, Cicar has the best and newest cars. We got automatic suv Peugot 2008 in very good condition for a great price. Full insured (insurance does not work on offroad) and no deposit! A/C worked perfectly and we had Android Auto working. After we returned the car we checked the prices in our hotel. For the manual Volkswagen Taigo we got an offer from AVIS which was almost 3x the price we paid in Cicar! We drove almost 900km in 5 days, 0 problems. Highly recommend.

Best rental car service ever, no question: if Canary Islands then CICAR. If the requested car is not available so you'll get a better one for same price. It's a good deal, isn't it?

I have been using this company to rent a car for a week. I would easily say the best decision made. My family is not travelling very well in bus, and the connection to the hotel was not an option for us. First, our flight was severely delayed, but Cicar was still open on arrival, waiting until the last flight landed. They upgraded free of charge the car booked for us. The service was super rapid. The return was so easy, park the car, drop the key, only a question about the petrol level and here you go. The price is very competitive and the staff super friendly, what more can you ask?
