An excellent and very straight forward experience with Atlantic Drive last week. Friendly service and simple good value pricing. Only additional option was off Road insurance (provided for 10 Euro per day) and an absolute must if you wish to visit some of the harder to reach but well worth visiting places on the island. We rented a Fiat Panda which despite having 100k+ KMs drove immaculately and was in all round good condition. We stayed in a hotel close by and could leave the key there for the return. Couldn't be simpler! We will definitely use again on our next visit to Fuerteventura.

We rented a car two times from them, while we were on the island. The cars were clean and well maintained. (Cheaper cars have less horsepower, noone should expect a racing car.) Some bigger cars require deposit, but not the small ones. Insurance is included in the price, but you may pay extra fee (e.g. if you want to go off-road.) The lady is very nice, speaks English very well and recommended a lot of places worth to visit.

Advantages: nice service, no credit card or deposit required. The formalities related to signing the contract took several minutes. Competitive prices. Of the minuses: an old car. A substitute car with a mileage of almost 140,000 km. Incorrect tire pressure indicator light on all the time. Inflating the tires did not help, even though there was almost no pressure in one of the wheels. Beating of one of the wheels when driving faster. Plays in the steering system. Musty smell inside. There is unvacuumed sand everywhere from the previous user. Overall, the car did not disappoint us, but the above shortcomings made it uncomfortable to use. Rental for less demanding people.

Even 1 star is at least one too many! We rented a Fiat Qubo (3 adults + 2 small children). The car was in front of the hotel at the agreed time - but that was the only positive thing about the whole thing. We drove straight out of the parking space for about 20 meters to turn around - and we were already in the middle of an exit area and nothing worked anymore. Gearbox damage. When we called the number given on the contract to make a claim - they werent even surprised that the car was broken. Absolutely negligent to rent a car like that. We were asked to walk to the office to return the key. The gentleman in the office already knew about it when we arrived and, after a lot of complaints from us, offered us another car. We then looked at it and it was also absolutely cheeky and life-threatening for everyone to rent out a car like that. It was a 9-seater that had certainly not just been involved in an accident. The entire car was so warped that the doors barely opened or didnt close properly. Back in the office we asked if he was serious about the car. It would be far too dangerous to drive it. The only answer was: But it drives I dont know what to think of such a company. We then got our money back without any problems.

Das Auto stand zum verabredeten Zeitpunkt vor dem Hotel - das war aber dann auch das einzige positive an der ganzen Sache. Wir sind aus der Parklucke gefahren ca. 20 Meter geradeaus gefahren um zu wenden - und schon standen wir mitten in einem Ausfahrtsbereich und es ging nichts mehr. Getriebeschaden. Als wir die auf dem Vertrag angegebene Nummer fur einen Schadensfall angerufen haben - war man nicht mal erstaunt daruber, das dass Auto kaputt ist. Absolut fahrlassig so ein Auto zu vermieten. Wir wurden gebeten eben zum Buro zu laufen um den Schlussel wieder abzugeben. Der Herr im Buro wusste auch schon Bescheid als wir kamen und hat uns nach deutlichen Beschwerden unsererseits einen anderen Wagen angeboten. Den haben wir uns dann auch noch angeschaut und auch das ist absolut frech und fur alle lebensgefahrlich solch ein Auto zu vermieten. Es handelte sich um einen 9-sitzer der mit Sicherheit nicht nur einen Unfall mitgemacht hatte. Das komplette Auto war so verzogen das die Turen kaum aufgingen bzw. nicht richtig schlossen. Zuruck im Buro haben wir gefragt ob das Auto sein Ernst ist. Es ware viel zu gefahrlich damit zu fahren kam nur als Antwort: Aber es fahrt Ich weiss nicht was ich von solch einem Unternehmen halten soll. Unser Geld haben wir dann anstandslos zuruckbekommen.

We spontaneously rented a car. Without having reserved in advance, we got a car 2 days later. It was a flawless transaction. We took the cheapest car, the Fiat Panda for 42 per day. The Fiat was in very good condition, the rear tires were only minimally worn. Your mileage was 112,000km. We drove about 250km on every route/road surface without any problems. We had to hand in the key at the reception of our hotel by 11:59 p.m. at the latest. We would definitely recommend it there.

Wir haben das gunstigste Auto genommen, den Fiat Panda fur 42 pro Tag. Der Fiat ist in einem sehr guten Zustand gewesen, die Reifen hinten nur minimal abgefahren. Dir Laufleistung lag bei 112 000km. Wir sind in etwa 250km problemlos jede Strecke/Strassenbeschaffenheit gefahren. Den Schlussel mussten wir spatestens um 23:59Uhr an der Rezeption unseres Hotels abgeben. Friendly employee, the car was older and had a good 214,000 km on it. The tank was almost empty at the beginning and we went straight to the next gas station. It drove quite well, but always had a yellow warning triangle, the maintenance indicator and the check engine light on. When I turned on the light, I said I should check it (I didnt think it was particularly bad since it was only used during the day)... Overall, the car did what it was supposed to, but I didnt have the best feeling with all the error messages on the display while driving.

Gefahren ist es ganz gut, hat aber immer ein gelbes Warndreieck, die Wartungsanzeige und die Motorkontrolleuchte aufgeleuchtet. Als ich das Licht angeschaltet habe kam auch man solle es prufen (da nur tagsuber genutzt nicht als besonders schlimm empfunden) ... Insgesamt hat das Auto das geleistet was es sollte, mit den ganzen Fehlermeldungen auf der Anzeige hatte ich aber nicht das beste Gefuhl beim fahren.

Recommended! We spontaneously went there on Wednesday because another car rental company left us hanging, and then we got a car for Friday. The Hyundai i10 had almost 72,000 km on it, new tires, was washed inside and out, but also had a few scratches. The car was brought to the hotel and the key was left at the reception. We were also able to simply hand the key over to the reception in the evening and that was the end of it (a big plus point for us). Overall, the whole thing was a bit expensive because you obviously have to return the car the way you got it (refuel, maybe car wash), but that all depends on how much you drive and where. Thats why 4 stars. Otherwise everything was TOP!

Der Hyundai i10 hatte knapp 72.000 km drauf, neuwertige Reifen, war von aussen sowie von innen gewaschen, hatte allerdings auch ein paar Kratzer. Das Auto wurde zum Hotel gebracht und der Schlussel an der Rezeption hinterlegt, genauso konnten wir den Schlussel am Abend einfach an der Rezeption abgeben und damit war die Sache erledigt (grosser Pluspunkt fur uns). Insgesamt war das ganze dann schon etwas teuer, da man das Auto naturlich so zuruckgeben muss, wie man es bekommen hat (tanken, evtl. Autowasche), aber das hangt alles ganz davon ab, wie viel man fahrt und wo. Deswege 4 Sterne. Sonst alles TOP!

Never again! Only 2 stars because the car was brought to the hotel free of charge and picked up from there. We rented a car in the cheapest price category ( Little Car ) here because it was the only car rental company that rents cars to drivers under 23 years old. Everything was great until then, until we saw that we had an old Fiat Panda with 248,000 km on it and the rear tires completely worn out. The modest power was not enough to drive up mountains (there are a lot of them on the island), you had to drive in second gear at times and progress was slow. Furthermore, the steering was very spongy and became independent when there were the slightest bumps in the road. After expressing our safety concerns, an exchange was not possible because there were supposedly no cars left. If we hadnt been dependent on this car rental company, we would have canceled the rental agreement and not driven a single kilometer with this car. Very unfriendly and disinterested service! The passenger door was also stuck and the car had a few scratches and scrapes, but we didnt have a big problem with that. All in all, we didnt feel safe at all and its only a matter of time before this car gives up the ghost! Not recommended under any circumstances (at least not in this price category)! The cars urgently need to be replaced!

Wir haben hier ein Auto der gunstigsten Preiskategorie ( Little Car ) gemietet, da es der einzige Autoverleih war, der Autos an Fahrer unter 23 Jahre vermietet. Bis dahin war alles super, bis wir gesehen haben, dass wir einen alten Fiat Panda mit gelaufenen 248.000 km und komplett abgefahrenen Hinterradreifen bekommen haben. Um Berge zu befahren (gibt es sehr viele auf der Insel) hat die bescheidene Leistung nicht gereicht, man musste teilweise im zweiten Gang fahren und kam nur schleppend voran. Des Weiteren war die Lenkung sehr schwammig und hat sich bei kleinsten Unebenheiten auf der Fahrbahn selbststandig gemacht. Umtausch war nach Ausserung unserer Sicherheitsbedenken nicht moglich, da es angeblich keine Autos mehr gab. Waren wir nicht auf diesen Autoverleih angewiesen gewesen, hatten wir den Mietvertrag widerrufen und waren keinen einzigen Kilometer mehr mit diesem Auto gefahren. Sehr unfreundlicher und desinteressierter Service! Beifahrertur klemmte ebenfalls und das Auto hatte einige Kratzer und Schrammen, womit wir aber kein grosses Problem hatten. Alles in Allem haben wir uns keineswegs sicher gefuhlt und es ist nur eine Frage der Zeit bis dieses Auto den Geist aufgibt! Keinesfalls zu empfehlen (jedenfalls nicht diese Preiskategorie)! Die Autos sollten dringend mal erneuert werden!

Had the pleasure of renting a Fiat Punto on the Costa Calma today, vehicle with over 220t km, defective doors and equally defective tailgate, which unfortunately hit my girlfriend on the head in a careless moment, if there had been a small child standing here then good night - Rental price was just under 50, you get significantly more car from the competition and no dents - not recommended for us and definitely the last time.

I was actually always happy with the car rental. Now, however, I no longer know what to think of it. The cars are all - really all - in a catastrophic condition. The cheapest car costs 42 and you have to return the car before midnight on the day you rent it, which means you have the car for a maximum of 14 hours and pay a minimum of 40 for it. In return, you get a car from the competition for a week that is new, clean, safe and no more than 2-3 years old. Example Fiat Panda: Constant engine oil warning, ESP logo lights up permanently and beeps most of the time, drivers door is difficult to open and drags on the body when opened. The only tip I can give everyone is to bring the car back and get your money back if you have the same situation, which is very likely since there arent that many cars left.

War eigentlich immer zufrieden mit der Autovermietung. Mittlerweile weiss ich allerdings nicht mehr, was ich davon halten soll. Die Autos sind alle - wirklich alle - in einem katastrophalen Zustand. Fur das gunstigste Auto wird 42 verlangt und man muss das Auto auch am Tag der Anmietung vor 0:00 zuruckbringen, sprich man hat das Auto hochstenfalls 14 Stunden und bezahlt dafur Minimum 40 Euro. Dafur bekommt man bei der Konkurrenz ein Auto fur eine Woche, welche neuwertig, sauber, sicher und hochstens 2-3 Jahre alt sind. Ich kann allen nur den Tipp geben, bringt das Auto zuruck und holt euch euer Geld wieder, solltet ihr den selben Fall haben, was sehr wahrscheinlich ist, da nicht recht mehr Autos vorhanden sind.

Light on from the start, an impression that the engine was going to fall to the ground and more expensive than the others! To avoid whatever happens...
