I experienced a breakdown with a car I initially rented from the Sixt Airport station. Employee David, who is exceptionally friendly, efficiently arranged for a replacement car with ease. However, after the car exchange, I realized I had left something in the malfunctioning vehicle. Upon calling David, he promptly allowed me to retrieve the forgotten items without hesitation.

Fernando at collection was amazing! He has recommended loads of beautiful places all over the island, not just to see but eat at! He has also given explanation to why visit these places. Also thanks to the unlimited mileage we have managed to visit almost all of them!

Very pleasant experience, the lady at the front desk explained everything regarding the vehicle and our different return location. She offered us a paid upgrade, but when we declined, she didnt push it and accepted our decision without any problems. We had a small chit chat about the island and then departed with our vehicle: Audi A3 30 tfsi manual, i would recommend this place if you want a higher tier car.

A great place to rent a car, excellent customer service from Georgina and Maria. Car was upgraded to a BMW X1which was like new, an excellent drive, just had to pay a small upgrade fee per day. Will be back to hire from here again when back in Tenerife

Ich habe uber Check 24 gebucht und die Sixtstation hat mir zusatzlich mit falschen Aussagen Zusatzlich uber die Visa Karte Geld abgezogen. Diese Station ist nicht serios. Vorsicht vorher gut vorbereiten bevor man diese Station besucht! Ich wurde da nicht mehr mieten!!! Sixt ist nicht serios, bitte nehmt einen anderen Anbieter. Ist besser!

I dont recommend it. We received an Audi A3 with a damaged clutch. We couldnt drive it so we returned it. We got a second car, Audi Q2. Of course, you must take detailed photos with each pickup. After returning the Audi Q2, they sent us a photo of the scratches on the bumper, as if we had done it. Fortunately, I had in the photo that this scratch was already there. A week after renting, I received a letter saying that I had to pay 960 euros for a broken clutch. The contract included a provision that the clutch was damaged before.

Po oddaniu Audi Q2 wyslali zdjecie rysy na zderzaku, ze niby my to zrobilismy. Na szczescie mialem na zdjeciu, ze ta rysa juz byla. A SHAME!!!! We rented a car which was initially a Ford and then they told us that they were offering us a Renault Capture instead, for a rental for two days. After a day and barely 80 km traveled, the car broke down on a highway entrance. The clutch breaks, causing miles of traffic jams. We called directly to warn Sixt, the person at the agency not understanding us, hung up on us and then didnt pick up. After an hour and a half of waiting on the side of the highway, the police finally arrived with a tow truck... they also tried to contact Sixt but no one answered. So we find ourselves paying for a taxi to return home, and canceling all our activities for the next day. It could have ended there, which is already a real shame, but no!! A month later, once we returned to France, we received an email telling us that they were going to charge us 1940 for the clutch kit and that it was up to us to pay for the repairs within 7 days. How can we make people pay costs of almost 2,000 for a broken clutch? Its not the rental companies fault if the car is faulty!!! Avoid at all costs, I have seen dishonest people but this is something, I thought that sixt was a guarantee of quality. A real shame!!!

Au bout dune journee et a peine 80 km parcourus, la voiture tombe en panne sur une entree dautoroute. Lembrayage casse, faisant des kilometres de bouchons. Nous appelons directement pour prevenir Sixt, la personne de lagence ne nous comprenant pas, nous raccroche au nez puis ne decroche plus. Apres 1h30 dattente sur le bord de lautoroute, les gendarmes finissent par arriver avec une depanneuse... ils essayent eux aussi de joindre Sixt mais personne ne repond. Nous nous retrouvons donc a payer un taxi pour retourner jusqua chez nous, et a annuler toutes nos activites du lendemain. Ca aurait pu sarreter la, ce qui est deja une veritable honte, mais non!! Un mois plus tard, une fois rentres en France, nous recevons un mail nous annoncant quils vont nous prelever 1940 pour le kit embrayage et que cest a nous de payer les reparations dans un delai de 7 jours. Comment peut on faire payer a des gens des frais de presque 2 000 pour un embrayage qui a casse ? Ce nest pas de la faute des loueurs si la voiture est defaillante!!! A fuir a tout prix, jai vu des personnes malhonnetes mais la cest quelque chose, je pensais que sixt etais gage de qualite. Une veritable honte !!!

BE CAREFUL THEY DO NOT EXPLAIN THE PAYMENT WELL. I have been renting cars for years and nothing like this has ever happened to me. When I picked up the car, they charged me 300 deposit + rental cost. When I delivered the vehicle I was informed of 3 days to return the deposit (it was strange, because in other places it is immediate). My surprise is when 3 days after returning the deposit, they send me the cost of the rental through my card!! Again!! Now they have 300+ rental cost x 2. When I called to ask about this charge, I was informed that they proceed like this, and that within a period of between 3 and 20 days... the 300 + rental cost, which was the first thing that was paid, would be returned to me. And here I am still waiting after 9 days... and waiting to have a little time to take action. To all this, the curious thing is that I have had no problems with the car, no damage, no strange stories... yes... you always have to record a video of the entire vehicle when it is picked up... to avoid problems . Although in the contract they specify the damage that the vehicle already has.

Al entregar el vehiculo se me informo de 3 dias para la devolucion de la fianza (ya fue raro, porque en otros sitios es inmediato). Mi sorpresa es cuando a los 3 dias lejos de devolver la fianza, me pasan por la tarjeta el coste del alquiler!! Nuevamente!! Ahora ellos tienen 300 + coste del alquiler x 2. Al llamar para preguntar por ese cobro se me informan de que ellos proceden asi, y que en un plazo entre 3 y 20 dias... se me devolveran los 300 + coste del alquiler, que fue lo primero que se pago. Y aqui sigo esperando despues de 9 dias... y esperando a tener un poco de tiempo para tomar acciones. A todo esto, que lo curioso es que no he tenido problemas con el coche, ni danos, ni historias raras... eso si... siempre hay que grabar un video de todo el vehiculo en su recogida... para evitar problemas. Aunque ellos en el contrato especifican los danos que ya tiene el vehiculo.

I highly do not recommend the rental company, dont be fooled, we got a car that had a damaged clutch and stopped in the middle of a huge hill, the gentleman knew it very well. After this situation, we went to the rental company, and the gentleman said that they forgot to clear the error and that we would they paid 20 euros for the next one, luckily they didnt meet people who would fall for it. And after returning the car, they found that the car was scratched, luckily we had photos from each side.

Had a really wonderful experience in the store today with Georgina and her colleague whos name I didnt get. Turned up on the day no booking and were sorted within minutes. Georgina was so lovely, she gave us a map with marked places of where to visit which made our lives a lot easier. Really great at her job and her colleague even went and pulled round our car out front for us. Highly recommend these guys in Costa Adeje!

I dont recommend Sixt. a) Rip-off when handing over the vehicle. The Hungarian employee is only looking for an upsell. You can choose between all inclusive and basic insurance. Unfortunately, I fell for it and chose basic insurance, which means that for EUR 20 more per day I reduced the deductible in the event of damage. This doubled the total costs for the tenants, liability and comprehensive insurance were already included when booking. b) Twice advised to deposit Miles and More. Nothing happens. c) Vehicle - 55,000km, barely Performance d) There is no luggage trolley anywhere - with 2 children, strollers, child seats, 2 suitcases without a luggage trolley, it is very difficult from the drop-off point to the check-in. You can also choose a local rental car station, so you no longer need Sixt.

We had a vehicle in the smallest category for 4 days. We got a VW Polo. Ordering via internet, confirmation and collection everything went smoothly. We even called shortly before pick-up time to ask if we were actually coming. The handover and return went smoothly, the employees spoke good English. The vehicle was very clean and in good condition. It is important to make sure that you do not take out additional insurance, this is calculated per rental day and quickly drives up the costs! Finally, as with any car rental company, be sure to inspect and document the vehicle carefully when you pick it up. We had damage that was not noted, but was easily documented when we returned it because we had photos as evidence.

Wir hatten 4 Tage ein Fahrzeug der kleinsten Kategorie. Bekommen haben wir einen VW Polo. Bestellung via Internet, Bestatigung und Abholung hat alles super geklappt. Es wurde sogar kurz vor der Abholzeit noch angerufen, ob wir auch wirklich kommen. Ubergabe und Ruckgabe hat problemlos geklappt, die Mitarbeiter sprechen gut englisch. Das Fahrzeug war sehr sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Unbedingt drauf achten, dass man keine Zusatzversicherung abschliesst, diese wird pro Miettag berechnet und treibt die Kosten schnell nach oben! Zum Schluss, wie bei jeder Autovermietung unbedingt das Fahrzeug bei der Abholung genau anschauen und dokumentieren. Wir hatten Schaden, die nicht vermerkt waren, jedoch bei der Ruckgabe anstandslos dokumentiert wurden, da wir Beweisfotos hatten.
