CICAR Adeje in Costa Adeje

We booked a car for 5 days, from 3 to 7th of October 2024. We picked up a car at 10.45, got inside around 11.30. We managed to drive for about 30km when the car died. Looked like a battery issue, during driving the radio and other electronics went down, we were unable to continue our trip. We called one of the numbers that we were given and after explaining everything, the guy on the phone told us to call a different number. So we called again. We were told that we will have to wait for a 2 or 3 hours. We have waited for more than 3 and a half (full sun), missed our trip because of it. Finally the help came with the same model and not even apologies. I took the car back to the cicar spot and I asked for a full refund. Unfortunately, I had to pay for today. Good thing they allowed me to resign from the rest of the days. To sum up, time and money wasted, we were not offered any car upgrade or anything like that. I would not recommend the experience.

Everything went without the slightest problem. From the handover to the return of the car. From the originally ordered car Seat Leon we finally got Cupra Formentor, which pleased us. The car was like new. The only small minus was the state of the fuel tank, it was almost empty. I can only recommend the car rental company

Went to this retailer after 2022 guide recommended them. They were a third of the price of our hotel including fully comprehensive insurance for two drivers. To get delivery we needed rent for 5 days.... It was a few euros more for 5 days with delivery and collection from hotel than 3 days to collect and return to hire shop.....Our last day we decided to return the car early as we visited the area of the shop... we got a REFUND!!!! Outstanding we weren't expecting this as it's our choice....THANK YOU Cicar. Delivery handover was very quick, a bit to quick almost here's the keys sign here, bye. Owning a new car in UK sorted out controls and starting etc. On return the receptionist was very understanding. Will use again in a heart beat, hassle free car rental, not out to over charge for add ons!!!

When visiting Tenerife in May 2024, I decided to use the services of the Cicar rental company and I was very satisfied. I was particularly attracted by the wide selection of cars and favorable prices. The reservation went smoothly, as did the vehicle pickup. The service was nice and explained all the important things to us. I enjoyed driving the Alfa Romeo Giulia and the next time I visit Tenerife the Cicar will be my first choice. Good work!

Reserved car online the day before. peugeot 208 for 3 days at 103 euros. Went to Cicars office with email confirmation. Paid the hire fee plus 38 euro for fuel which is refunded if you return the car full. This is a much better way I feel as I returned the car with 1/4 tank and received 11 euro fuel refund. Car had no issues other than a few scratches and small scrapes. I photographed these on the car park before I moved it. Car was clean and fully functional. I would definitely use Cicar again and would recommend 100%. The staff also were excellent. Thank you Cicar.

The car was rough around the edges but great performance I really enjoyed driving this car in sports mode around the island! Only pay deposit on current fuel, I returned with the same amount of fuel and the money was back in my bank the following day! My fuel deposit was 40 euros. 90 euros for 3 whole days without an insane deposit sounds great to me. Would come back again. Staff friendly when picking up and dropping off, zero issues.

We hired the Abarth 124 spider. From start to finish our experience has been great. It was easy to book with CICAR through email and the collection of the vehicle was smooth and quick. We were able to pay cash when we picked up the vehicle and we didn't have to leave a holding deposit. It was all very easy. Drop off was also very straightforward and we wouldn't hesitate to hire with them again.
