AVIS Ceiba: A Lifesaver with Exceptional Service! After enduring nightmarish experiences with other car rental companies on the island, I was at my wits' end. In a last-ditch effort, I used Uber to find a car rental near Luquillo and stumbled upon AVIS in Ceiba. With little hope but desperate need, I scheduled a rental on short notice. Upon arrival, I braced myself for disappointment. There were few to no cars available, especially in the Compact SUV category I had booked. But what happened next completely turned my vacation around. The staff at AVIS Ceiba were absolute heroes. Instead of turning me away or making excuses, they assured me I wouldn't be left without a vehicle. True to their word, they went above and beyond, upgrading me to a big, fabulous F-150 truck for the entire week - at no extra cost! The truck was perfect for exploring the island, and the exceptional service made me feel valued as a customer. It was a complete 180 from my previous rental experiences. I'm so impressed that I'm not only renting from them again, but I plan to make AVIS Ceiba my go-to for all future trips to Puerto Rico. Their commitment to customer satisfaction, flexibility, and problem-solving attitude sets them leagues apart from the competition. If you're in need of a rental car near Luquillo, Fajardo or Ceiba (or even if you are going to stay in San Juan), look no further than AVIS Ceiba. They turned what could have been another rental disaster into the highlight of my trip. Absolutely amazing service that has earned my loyalty for life!
I can't speak for Avis in general, but the Avis in Ceiba Puerto Rico was amazing! They went above and beyond to be of service and to help us with pick up and drop off at the ferry terminal. And, their manager Cynthia was great to work with!
It took us a minute to find the location because our ride share driver pointed us in the wrong direction. Once we made it into the office both staff members were very chatty and helpful. Jeremy walked us around the car to do the inspection and suggested that we take pictures to document all the minor abrasions.
Easily the best car rental experience I've ever had. Best service bar none. Pick up and drop off at ferry terminal makes this an easy recommendation. Zero complaints. Thank you Cynthia!!!
I called them when we got off the ferry, and they came and picked us up from the ferry terminal free of charge. The car was clean and in good condition. Very fast service: less than 5 minutes. They had no problem with me picking up the car here and dropping it off in San Juan several days later.
Whew!! Ride sharing is practically non-existent in Ceiba. The staff was SO helpful in providing last minute car rental options. The Jeep Wrangler was sooooo much fun --especially for exploring the island. Can hardly wait to return.
