I've used Cicar a few times & found them excellent. I book on line in advance but they never take payment or even ask for card details until I collect the car! Collection is simple, show passport, show license, sign & pay. Non of this "would you like extra insurance against the rise of the dinosaurs?' Nonsense you get with some companies . Cars are always in 1/2 a tank and I return them with 1/2 a tank as requested, never had a problem. My only advice is when you book on line to collect at your resort it might have multiple offices & they don't seem to have a system to sort out which office you meant ! Best check in advance to avoid delays! Most recently we booked a Fiat 500 but got upgraded to this Corsa.

They advise you to book online, then collection was super easy and fast. We got a Fiat 500 which was in great condition with approx. 60k kilometres on it. You collect the car from their garage ~ 5 mins walk away. The Fiat was superb on mileage (hybrid). It only struggled slightly on some of the motorway hills. Friendly staff and highly recommended

Rented from them many cars during my Canary holidays. Used this office and others as well. Very nice service from the ladies in the office. Paid by credit card, no hassle. Rented a Fiat 500, did the job for 4 days. The pick up/drop off is 5min walk, very easy process. Will use them again in future.

Very effortless process. No deposit needed, you pay exactly what you book for online. You come to the kiosk, pay upfront, pick up the keys and go. They will ask you to walk to the garage which is located 200-300 meters the west near the pharmacy, where you pick up your car. You will also need to return the car at the garage and not the kiosk. Great experience and would absolutely recommend renting from this company. P.S.: we've also received a slightly more premium car than we've originally booked!

Great renting company, no deposit needed and you can pay in cash or card at pick up. I booked Fiat 500 (or similar) and they don`t have it. But even better, they gave me automatic Seat Ateca without extra pay for it. I also booked Fiat 124 Spider for one day and also without any complaints. I recommend this company for sure.

1st time renting a car whilst on holiday, after reading reviews on this and other rental firms i decided on CICAR, within 5 minutes it was sorted that i would collect the car the next morning as requires by me. What should've been a corsa turned out to be a mokka, "TIP" look around the car & take pics of any damage you see before driving away just in case of a responsibility issue later, as things turned out i probably didn't need to. We enjoyed exploring the island & the car drove faultless for the 3 days we had it. Thanks CICAR

We chose Cicar in Fuerteventura because you dont need a credit card, the vehicles are very cheap and there are no mileage limits. The vehicles we had were well equipped and had fully comprehensive insurance without self-service on board as standard. After a few days, the cruise control on the Alfa went off, called straight away and got a replacement at the airport late in the evening that was equivalent. Fast, competent service. Only recommended. You can also clearly see when you drive around Fuerte which rental company most of the vehicles are from.

Wir haben uns auf Fuerteventura fur Cicar entschieden aufgrund dessen dass man keine Kreditkarte braucht, die Fahrzeuge sehr gunstig sind und es keine Kilometerbegrenzung gibt. Die Fahrzeuge die wir hatten waren gut ausgestattet und hatten serienmassig eine Vollkasko ohne sb an Board. Nach ein paar Tagen viel an dem Alfa der Tempomat aus, direkt angerufen und auch spat abends noch am Flughafen einen ersatzweisen bekommen der gleichwertig war. Schneller kompetenter Service. Nur zu empfehlen. Man sieht auch eindeutig wenn man auf Fuerte rumfahrt von welchem Vermieter die meisten Fahrzeuge sind.

Habe nun auf 3 Kanarischen Inseln bei Cicar einen Wagen gemietet. This is the only car rental I use, but I think Ill be looking at another company they charged for the fuel thats already in the tank, and you then return it with the same amount of fuel, I used them in lanzarote in may this year and I wasnt charged for the fuel that was in the tank,it might not be much but its getting more expensive to get here and the prices have gone up on everything I just feel theyre ripping off the tourists, Ive used this company 6 times in the last 2 years and have another 2 holidays booked for later this year well theyve lost my custom

We made a reservation online the day before for a car. We chose times (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) but when we went to the agency we were told that we would have the car from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. that other times were not possible.. the person did not I didnt even want to change the price depending on the changed hours, we are very upset, even with the welcome which was very unpleasant. We rented a vehicle for the umpteenth time. We reserved a Fiat 500 because it is very small and maneuverable. Unfortunately it didnt work because it is a very popular car. We got a Kia XCeed which was no worse, I think it was even better higher.Up until now we have always had relatively new, modern vehicles and have never been disappointed.When we go on vacation to the Canary Islands, we know where to rent a car.Absolutely recommended! Have used CI cars for years never had a problem. But today we left the office without renting the car. Customer service was awful. Couldnt find the car and had a bad knee. The drawn map given to us was not helpful at all. It wasnt parked where they said around the corner spent 20 mins looking for it. Before when we have rented, it has been out the front ready to go. Also was only qauter of a tank so after walking around to find would have to find a garage before we even started the day. Not good enough. Definitely gone down hill. Shame they have lost out we will somewhere else.

A good, chain rental company with competitive prices. I have used it several times, on Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Gran Canaria and I am satisfied. Although I never once received the car I booked online, it was always an upgrade to a more expensive model, of course at no extra cost. It didnt make a difference to me, but if someone cares about a specific brand and model, it may be an inconvenience. They do not leave the car at the hotel. A nice man arrives at the agreed time and takes the client to the nearest office where the formalities must be completed. It takes just a moment, no deposit, no hidden costs. You can return your car by leaving it in front of the hotel and leaving the keys at the reception. They will come and get it themselves. The cars are actually new, maybe 3-4 years old, washed, cleaned and, most importantly, fully insured. I recommend

Rent online a few days before arriving on the island. No waiting, some paperwork to do but it only lasts 5 minutes. Already called on them in Lanzarote as well. I recommend, no problem with them. Please note that you only speak Spanish or English.
