Extremely unhappy and dissatisfied customer will not be booking with them, flight was delayed and arrived late so car was cancelled (fair enough), but the car rental company never even received funds from DO YOU SPAIN. So I was required to pay full price for a new rental and did not receive any discount based on what I already paid (since rental company never got funds). Reached out to customer service and basically they said NO REFUND since your flight was delayed... not there problem. Moral of the story pay a bit extra or make a deal directly with rental company because at least you will be covered in these situations and save yourself the headache.
I would never use this company again! I booked a car through them and the booking voucher they sent me had the wrong address on it. I spent 60 euros on taxis going to collect a car to find that they had moved offices. After being unable to collect the car they refused to refund me and have kept my money. What they are doing is criminal and they won't get away with it
Don't waste time with them. The worst experience ever! I booked a car a few days in advance; they sent me a confirmation and a voucher, but after a few days, I received a message that because of "fleet fail," they couldn't deliver a car. At that time, all other cars were booked, or the price was very expensive.
Do not ever use this company. My flight was delayed due to weather conditions. Then to add to it a passenger on board was taking illegal substances so had to be escorted of the plane which delayed us even more. I would say this is mitigating circumstances. So once we arrived the car hire place has closed at airport. I tried to call them number of times before take off but no answer to warn them. They automatically cancelled my booking when they knew my flight was delayed. I wanted to go and get the car that morning once they reopened but they said no it's not available and you can't have a refund and we have nothing for you to rebook. Absolutely disgusting customer service considering it wasn't my fault my flight was delayed and made no allowances. Please NO ONE ever use this place
Definitely do not rent from this company! Reserved a car and paid online for 1 month. Paid 600 euros. After the reservation I received a call saying that they were canceling the reservation and that I could not get my money back. So I paid 600 euros, they canceled the booking and I ended up without a car and without money. I don't get a response when I file a complaint. I am completely powerless. DEFINITELY DO NOT BOOK THROUGH DOYOUSPAIN!!!
Absolutely brilliant. Such an easy smooth process. No hidden costs. They meet you at the airport and there when you return. We hired a Nissan Duke hybrid for a week. Hardly used any petrol and air con was amazing. Only negative was no sat nav but we used our phones for directions. After googling through other companies I can't believe how much simpler this process was. Price was extremely reasonable. Would recommend.
Consistently offers good prices, often well below major car rental company websites. Easy to browse. Easy to pay. A word of caution to people who are renting a car as tourists. Avoid Avis Spain. They attempted to charge me $1000 for towing because of a dead battery that they claimed was my financial responsibility. Always, always ask the rental car staff, "Who is responsible for the mechanical integrity of the car? What if the battery dies? Who pays for towing? Who guarantees the customer a replacement vehicle at no cost? Get it in writing before you let them charge your card. Spain is a tricky place to deal with these issues. This ain't Kansas anymore. Spain is full of cheats and companies in Spain don't really have the same sense of customer service that you will find in the UK and the USA. Good luck!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I will keep this short. They have no contact email this is a warning sign! They are a broker, meaning they do no actually own a car hire company, they take your money and try and hook you up with a cheap local firm. **I ordered a Peugot Rifter 7 seater "or similar", but was given a van with 5 seats and no opening windows in the back. This was totally unsuitable for us!** On the phone the man from DoYouSpain told me I could cancel with no refund or take the van. Then he hung up on me. Despite taking the insurance you still have to pay the local firm on your credit card then claim it back afterwards! The van was battered with scratches everywhere yet it was up to me to photograph the entire thing in HD. I was charged over PS500 for a scratch. Yet I had photographic proof that the scratch was there before I took the van out and an email agreement from the company to say this was fine. Go to a reputable company, pay the extra it is well worth it!
