GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The female made me wait 45+ minutes for a receipt (print or email) when I returned the car. She kept telling me she'd "email it when she had time" because she was working on something else. SUSPICIOUS? DEFINITELY!

This place is great! We walked by the stores and decided to rent a car. We got a sedan for 24 hours for ~$75 with shuttle to the airport after we return the car. The car is very new and clean, minimum wait time. Highly recommend this place!

I had to book the next flight to PR for a family emergency and my sister recommended VIAS. Lourdes was exceptional, she worked with me to arrange an airport pickup and i was in and out of vias in less than 30 minutes. I was stressed and the warmth and efficiency of Lourdes really helped calm me down, thank you so much for treating me so kindly. The car was perfect, I took it into the mountains with no issue. Friendly customer service!!! Both Lourdes were AMAZING! I rented a 2023 JEEP WRANGLER and the process was so smooth!! They explained everything in detailed leaving nothing out! Returning the vehicle was a simple and quick process as well. I got a ride to the Airport witch was a PLUS, Melvin was super polite and helpful, also a safe driver. Overall, it was a great first renting experience with VIAS Car rental (Isla Verde). I already recommended to some friends.

Beyond terrible. Call broke after 40 mins of driving. They made me come back with the car and road assistance to the office Leaving my family in the middle of nowhere (There was no room for them) plus they wanna charge me for tolls driving the day. Wasted day of short vacation. They also charged my for car repairs $500

I had an amazing experience with this Car Rental company. I went to PR during what was a busy traveling month (spring break for many) and I called so many places and no rental cars were available anywhere on the island. I was so happy to find this place with available cars. The pickup is not at the airport, although close by, you would have to Uber or taxi over to it. The cars are clean and beautiful and new. The pickup experience was great. Hotel Villa del Sol/Vias Car Rental, is also a hotel and you can tell that it is ran really well. The women working the front office were wonderful. On my second day with the rental, I noticed one of my headlights didn't work, and they made the process of the quick exchange for another identical car very easy. I also happened to leave sunglasses in the car upon my return of the rental, and although it wasn't worth me paying to have the sunglasses shipped back to me to California, it was very sweet of the ladies to contact me to let me know I had forgotten them. This place will be my go to for car rentals in PR.

The truth is that it is very scary that they take advantage of people who need a vehicle at the last minute and give you exaggerated prices and a horrible deposit. And to top it all off, they dont have a shuttle that will take you to the airport until after 7:30am, I had to ask for an Uber, that way it wont make progress, very unfortunate... I dont recommend it at all.

Y para colmo no tienen un un shuttle que te lleve al Aeroporto hasta despues de la 7:30am tube que pedir un uber de esa maner no va a progresar muy lamentable ...... no la recomiendo para nada

Terrible company, they did an inspection at night, we dont see the entire vehicle. I return it at night and they tell me that I have to wait the next day at 8 am for them to do theirs. After 3 days it turns out that the front glass has a small crack. With full insurance it supposedly comes out in the 500 dollars I made as a deposit, and they will fine you for the small crack if they leave like that. Nobody noticed the crack because it was barely visible, which we all believe was that they didnt give the vehicle that way, as a strategy to want to take away our deposit. The staff treated us terribly, saying that we were to blame and that she was not to blame. (photo of the Rift)

Malisima compania, me hicieron una inspeccion de noche, no vemos el vehiculo entero. La devuelvo en la noche y me dicen que debo esperar al otro dia a las 8 am para que ellos hagan la de ellos. Despues de 3 dias resulta que el cristal de alante tiene una pequena grieta. Con seguro full supuestamente sale en los 500 dolares que hice de deposito, que le pondran una multa por la pequena grieta si salen asi. Nadie se dio cuenta de la grieta porque casi ni se veia, lo cual todos creemos que no dieron el vehiculo asi, como estrategia de querer quitarnos el deposito. This office is the most unprofessional!! The girl that works at night the 9pm shift was EXTREMELY rude. Never in my life had I experienced such rudeness. I asked to speak to a manager and she would not pass me to them nor give them my # for them to contact me. She proceeded to say it was not her problem she couldn t help and over charged me $250!!! Do not rent at this office!!! Terrible terrible service from the employee. Extremely disappointed

We had a good experience overall. The 5-star rating is mainly because we ended up paying $800-something for our rental when all major companies were quoting us $1,400+. They didnt hold or reservations though and luckily they still had some cars available, so make sure you get an actual reservation and not just a quote when you call. Also, their website is horrible.

First time I rented from Vias car rental. I was very skeptical because if a very bad experience we had with europcar. So after that horrible experience we decided to just rent from the airport and we did that for years now. Until we stayed at Hotel Villas del sor and read the reviews for Vias car rentals. And decided to give it a try. We did for the first time this past December and it turned out to be a great experience. I myself took pictures of the car in front of the staff member and made sure that she marked the correct scratches/dents on the paper that the car already had. The car rental is in the same hotel we stay in the first night we arrive to PR and the last night as well. So it works out perfect. The car rental will pick you up at the airport and drop you off also. There hours for pick up and drop off are 8am to 4pm. They are amazing profesional and puntual. The only thing that was our own fault is we forgot to fill up the tank was just missing a little abd they charged me almost $20. But other then that we will continue to rent from them and hope that the service will be the same with no issue. I do recommend Vias car rental for sure. And the process are really good. Vias is top of the line quality in service and vehicles in Isla Verde. Yes there are cheaper options out there but vias is about quality and I appreciated their quick service on my most recent trip. They have limited airport shuttle service so if you need that keep it in mind that your flight works with the shuttle times.

The best place to rent cars. Its my third time renting here and I dont regret it. The employees are very kind, humble and always give me excellent treatment. I even know their names because they treat me so well. Amarilys and the two Lourdes are excellent employees and excellent people. They make you feel at home. The cars are much cheaper than other companies. I recommend Vias car rental with a closed eye, you will not regret it.

The BEST stay, my sister went to this comfortable hotel, from the moment you enter you feel like Kings. The treatment was unforgettable, the girls at the front desk were super attentive and even recommended us to Buenos Rest. First time leaving a review on something....first off we did not get picked up from the airport (I called them and said they dont do that only to find out when I got there with uber that I should have said that I rented the car (I was staying at the hotel) Once we got the car they literally gave us the worst one they had (a beat up versa) while renting it she told me return Is at 7 (it doesnt specify on the paper work if its am or pm but I told the lady that I rented the car and spoke to someone that I need it till 7 pm...it makes no sense to keep it overnight just to return it in the morning anyways..(I have to mention that they are rude on top of all that too and Im a patient guy and found them unpleasant) Anyhow, they charged me for the extra day because I returned it around noon thinking Im returning it early, looking at my statements looks like they overcharged me so basically I really regret not renting from the airport through a well known company and saving myself the headache, wouldve actually came out cheeper too and for sure would have a nicer car.
