WE WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE GAINST USING BOLNUEVO CARS, YOU COULD END UP WITH RECEIVING DEMANDS FOR FICTITIOUS CLAIMS On the 25th April 2024 l hired cars from Bolnuevo Cars as my own car was in the garage for repair. I picked up my car the morning of the 15th May and dropped the hired car back to Bolnuevo Cars by 1.55pm. Back in England Kevin WhatsApped me on the 21st June 2024. Telling me l had a fine come through from Elche province which is near Alicante Airport for 72 euros. He said it was a traffic offence, and l had to pay it immediately or he would have to give the authorities all my details and when l come back into Spain on arrival the Authorities would deal with me. To avoid any problems in Spain when l got home l paid Bolnuevo Cars the fine of 72 euros. l asked for all paperwork. I forwarded it all onto my goddaughter who informed me it was a chase up letter. Kevin said that was all they where sent and it was the original. If l wanted to challenge it to go to the authorities. When we came back into Spain we went into the Suma office in Torrevieja, who informed me they were not interested in the driver, only the owner of the car. By law they could not give us any details but said Bolnuevo Cars could go onto the site with their barcode and pull off the offence. All l was looking for was what the offence was and the time the offence was committed. On Monday 30th September we went up to see Becca at Bolnuevo Cars. We started to explain she was getting very adjugated and called Kevin in. In the meantime she printed off all the relevant fine paperwork. Kevin came in, said their computer was not big enough to access the records and Suma wipes all their records after 30 days. The Suma office had already confirmed to me they hold them indefinitely. He then informed us "you hired the car for the day, regardless when you returned it, so you are liable for ALL fines for that day. The reason we queried the fine is because we had not been any where near Alicante. He would not tell me what the fine was for or what time. We then asked for the paperwork Becca had given him, he rolled it up and would not hand it over. By now he was VERY aggressive and threatening, We then left the office. (Bolnuevo Cars offer as part of their services to pick up clients from Alicante Airport). Kevin claimed the car did not go back out that day, no proof was offered, l think that says it all.

My son has hired cars twice a year from Bolnuevo Cars for the last 4 years. Today I took the a day early and was confronted with a very angry Becca who was very rude and told me we would have to pay for a valet and told that the car was in a disgusting state inside. There was one empty can a whole bottle of water in opened a piece of string and a small child's toy. If she wanted to complain then she could have been more polite. She has just lost a 5 week a year car hire customer.

Bolnuevo Cars, are a local family run car hire company, and that is truly reflected in their excellent and friendly approach, and have a real care and consideration for all their customers. Myself and my partner hired a car from them this past 2 weeks whilst over in Spain, and we were unfortunately involved in a collision with another road user. Nobody was hurt thankfully, and the car hire company's first concern was the well being of us and our infant daughter. They could not have been more understanding and compassionate throughout the whole thing, and we don't think we would have enjoyed our holiday as much had it not been for them and their customer service. My family are local to the area, and use Bolnuevo Cars for everybody who comes to visit. From theirs and my own experience, I would have to recommend them over anybody else. I've been coming to puerto de mazarron for many years and know the area very well and my partner also, and over the years used different car rentals over here, but I have to say bolnuevo car rentals is one the best car rentals I have ever used 10 out of 10 for service and helpfulness they are simply the best. From start to finish they were brilliant Bekki was a pleasure to meet and made us feel welcome and got everything organised for when we came over and friendly and professional too. Kevin was great too...top man, he picked us up to and from bolnuevo to isla plana and vice versa with no extra charge (and explained its all part of the service) which was reassuring and helpful. I have to say all three of them, mum daughter and dad were all brilliant thank you so much from Marge and myself and look forward to seeing you soon P.S. the car was perfect a Kia rio, very clean and tidy car and would highly recommend

Collecting the car. Very quick and efficient service. Car. Clean and the main controls pointed out. Very happy.

We had to hire four separate cars over a period of a few weeks and used Bolnuevo Cars SL. They were absolutely brilliant, very helpful, very friendly, and flexible. I can't rate them more highly. The cars were clean and exactly what we wanted. We also used them to take some of our family to the airport early one morning and that went absolutely perfect. If you need to hire a car or need transport to/from the airport, then you should use their services.

.........REVISED....... I booked a car in on 26th february for 11days hire from Apr 7th and because in UK paid in full for rather than deposit only. Came to mazarron & neighbour selling car as going back to UK due to cancer. So bought it ..Went to Bolnuevo car hire & explained situation giving them 27 days notice of cancellation. Would not refund any money even though we would accept losing deposit. . So have to take car hire anyway as paid for. REVISED,........ Arrived at Bolnuevo car hire 7th April . Even though Rebecca wouldn't refund any money for unwanted car Kevin did approach us & offered refund less deposit (as they'd had someone wanting car) . Common sense prevailed in the end!
