National Car Rental - Aeropuerto de Bilbao in Bilbao

Worst experience I've had with National anywhere in the world! It's a Kafkaesque experience renting a car here. Not sure if I'm ever going to actually get a car. National - you need to sort this place out!!!

El peor servicio posible, mientras esperaba por un coche reservado a las 4 en Valladolid y no me lo entregaron hasta la 8, pude ver como llegaba gente con coche reservado desde hacia dias y no les daban ninguna solucion. Ademas me dieron un coche defectuoso y no consegui contactar por telefono, ni siquiera con asistencia en carretera.

Terrible customer service, especially from manager Alexandro who did not return my call 3 times. Too many problems to mention. 1st and last time.

Garbage company. Booked a car and they gave it away before I arrived. I gave them our flight information during the booking. My flight was delayed and instead of doing their part, recognizing that my flight was delayed, they instead blamed me on my arrival saying I did not put my flight number. Guess what.. it's on my confirmation email. I did my part your company failed and now I'm stuck at the airport without a car. Do better

Atencion al cliente de la que ya no queda, tenia prisa por recibir coche y marcharme e hicieron verdaderamente lo posible por conseguirlo. Nelea, Marta, Majo: equipazo. No hay comparacion con otras agencias en Loiu.

We rented a car here for 1.5 weeks and everything was perfect. The reception we received upon check-in was very warm, efficient and flexible. The car itself was great. It was a very quick return with someone waiting for us in the garage. We were done with it in less than 3 minutes. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful, kind and helpful, and if you don't speak Spanish, everyone we spoke with was fluent in English. Would highly recommend them and use them again in the future.

SHAME SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!!!!!! Worst experience ever, they don't tell you any information that is necessary to drive in spain, for example you're not allowed to use a Bluetooth that's in your ear while driving, 100 euro fine, if your driver's license isn't from a certain country you need a international license or permit that translates your documents if you don't have it 250 euro fine, but they will rent to you regardless even though they know your going out and risking tickets and fines running into the thousands, do they give any advise to someone renting a car none what so ever, shame on National rent a car thought they were the top rental agents, now I see they're just scammers like the rest of the rentals around..... SHAME SHAME SHAME SHAME

Do not recommend for business trip, no contract in english - you don't know what you sigh when you pick up the car, than I requested translated bill but no response from customer service.
