The pick up was fast, the employee was nice and described all the details. There was free upgrade of the car to more expensive option, which was new and a pleasure to drive. Even though we returned the car slightly after the office was closed, there were no problems with that as it's possible just to put keys in a box at parking. Overall, very positive experience.

Fantastic experience. Kind and thorough service at pick up, and seamless self drop off. Pricing was excellent and included full coverage and an additional driver for the same price as other rental services. Centauro has my unqualified recommendation for car rental in Spain.

It has been more than 6 weeks and no reply from Centauro. The message I received below is the same message I received from FB post. What a shame!!!! I am still trying to get my gas and fake damage charges money back. After sending a lot of emails, all I got was an email from a Centauro employee asking for photos. What about them to send me a photo of the damage? Of course, she cannot send me images of the damage because there are none. And also, of course she did not reply back again. Make a complain here: https://www.confianzaonline.es . They are going to do the arbitration for free, and will charge the company. Be careful: the people at the front desk are deceiving people, going to lie in your face, going to make false damages to charge you money from your pre-authorization. You cannot complain to corporate because the phone numbers don't work, and nobody will answer, then the call drops. They lie about the gasoline levels in the car, and they are going to fabricate damages to your car. Don't trust them. Also, they do not return the money for gasoline that they initially charged you. Note that they are going to make up charges, and they don't tell you why. So, is not that easy even to file an insurance claim. So, if you have insurance, try to file a claim, and get the money back back on the damage. But in fact is that they don't answer the phone, and they don't give you any documentation of the charge.

I had to pick up vehicle Sunday morning at 9 am. I made this reservation a month ago. The web states they open at 7:30 am. There was nobody in the office by 9:15 am. I gave up on them and proceeded with Enterprise. This is unreliable company. Do not take a chance with them.

I had no problem with the staff, which is polite. The car was also good, although it had previous damages (first you sign the contract and then you get the car which is a bit tricky). One star is because one month has passed from an on time cancellation, however the refund has not taken place yet. What is most annoying is that there is no response to my emails.

That was my first experience with Centauro. To be honest i had some doubts in the begenning. We rented the car from Bilbao center office and returned at the airport. Here i would like to mention about the lady, Regina in the center office. She couldn't be even more helpful. She explained everything in detail and even she helped us how to pay our traffic fine which we had in Vitoria by calling related departments of Vitoria police office. The day after return we recieved our fuel deposit which was also faster than we thought. Overall everything went perfect. I would definitely recommend the company especially for the ones who has doubts like me :) Reasonable prices and friendly staffs makes it perfect choice.

SCAMMERS ALERT!! YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR TIME, YOUR HAPPINESS AND YOUR MONEY I rented a car in Centauro Bilbao Station. When I arrived, they asked me to sign the document where there was no damage to the car. Afterwards, we went to the parking lot to get the car. Unfortunately, the car was a disaster full of scratches which were not documented. I made pictures to document everything, and they told me all the damages were already included in the car's book. It was a lie, nothing was documented. On the return, we had a full tank of petrol, and they didn't give back the 97euros of petrol deposit, even if they admit it was full. And of course, they said we made all the scratches and we had to pay 240 euros per each scratch. The total amount was higher than the price of the car itself. Thank's God I had pictures of most of them, so they couldn't scam me fully. As well, they say we made the damages and even if we show the pictures of all the scratches, they pressured us for more than one hour that it was us and finally lost of deposit for damages, even if we insisted that we had insurance with booking, as well as insisting that we didn't made the damages and we shown the pictures realized before starting the renting. After pressuring us for more than 1h (time lost of our trip). They charged all the deposits and we lost them. The most expensive renting car I ever had, with all charges it would be cheaper to rent an helicopter elsewhere. I recommend you run, YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR TIME, YOUR HAPPINESS AND YOUR MONEY.
