Watch out for this rental company! A huge fraud among rental company employees who trick customers into paying compensation for previous damages. The complaints department does not respond to complaints. I rented a car on October 7, 2024 with damage that I photographed before picking it up. There was no one there when I dropped off the car, as I had a return flight early in the morning, and the car drop-off system is maintenance-free. I received an invoice for damages in the amount of EUR 350, which were already present when I picked up the car. I sent a complaint by e-mail with attached photos of the damage before collecting the rental car. To this day, no one has heard from the rental company's complaints department! I will refer the matter to lawyers

We were able to pick up the car 1/4 hour after the opening time due to the long delay of our plane. There were a lot of people in front of the office, but the 40 Euro after-closing fee was charged. We only received the key, but no one was there when it was handed over. Then and there, we couldn't complain because of the deep scratch (dent) that ran along the right side of the car. The next morning, we notified the office about this with a photo attachment. Answer came after 6 days. When returning the car, they didn't even look at it, but the fuel deposit was already returned. It is true that we had full insurance for the car. However, without this, we could have had problems, even though I did not cause the injury. Telephone and e-mail communication is not the strength of the rental company. In the end, my experience was positive, because we got a really great, almost new car at a very reasonable price.

We were a little bit nervous about renting with record go due to their bad reviews, however me and my sister (age 19 and 20), had a good experience. We rented the first week of September, and were given a new Toyota Yaris cross with only 15000km. The only issue we had was with the check-in process. The staff had us wait a while when they decided to help people from behind us in line?? Anyways it wasn't such a big deal, just adds to the stress of travelling. Check out was quick and easy. Overall, good smooth experience, and amazing car!!

Hired a car from Record Go Mallorca for 4 nights. I booked an Alfa Romeo Stelvio and this was the car I received. The waiting time on collection was about 20 minutes which was quite long, but the airport was busy. The car was a bit battered and bruised, and had 40,000km on it, so I suppose that can be expected, however, the car was nice to drive, and all damage had been recorded already by Record Go. Remember to always take a full walk around video of the car on collection. When returning the car, it was a 10 minute, smooth enough process. My fuel & damage deposit was returned to me within 2 days.

Absolute joke of a rental company. I rented a Toyota Yaris for 3 days from them. On receiving the car there was nobody from the company present to physically inspect the numerous damages with me. The car looked like it came straight out of an accident, it was that bad! Nevertheless, it was 12am and so I didn't want to go back to the office to dispute it. This is, especially after they switched my car already because they 'couldn't find' the car keys of the one I actually agreed to rent. It's also worth noting that they did this AFTER I informed them that I wouldn't be taking out separate insurance with them since VIP cars already provided me with basic insurance. Fast forward three days, and there was nobody there to receive the vehicle either. After landjng back in Eindhoven I received an invoice for EUR500 for damage to the frame of the inside of the door??? How is it possible to even damage that part mistakenly? This is definitely a scam rental agency that looks for any excuse to steal money from people.

I picked up a car at Mallorca airport earlier today. The cars are located in a very dark parking lot. I left and drove around a bit and the. parked it at a store and noticed a lot of damage on the car. And also the car is dirty inside. I'm very disappointed with this. It was my first time with Recordgo.. most probably my last.

We had for a week an almost new Toyota Yaris. We booked and payed the car online so the check in process was smooth. For the others who booked it on site it was a very long queue so I would not recommend. The car was almost new, still not very clean but I have no complaints. The return process was also smooth despite the fact I was struggling a bit finding the drop off area. We had to pay the full tank of petrol in advance, we were told that at return in case the tank will be full the amount will be refunded.

We've booked always at Record Go on Mallorca. Despite the rather complicated booking process at the counter, we never had any complaints and good cars as Record Go Members. This time was unfortunately very disappointing.Nor that our car had several damages and seemingly accidents before, which were not mentioned in the contract, moreover the car was not properly cleaned before the pick up! The Most disappointing was that the tank was only 3/4 filled up, despite we booked and already paid deposit for full/full. Not very professionell and next time we go with Sixt! Sorry.. UPDATE: we contacted the Customer Service at Record Go ...and got no response ;)!!!

The on-site processing was very efficient. One negative point is the APP. This has various errors. Entries are automatically reset, which can lead to unnecessary discussions. (automatic machine -> manual, telephone number area code, etc.). Ive had a lot of good times with Record Go and its generally good value for money.

I used the Just Go deal. Great price and so easy. Online booking. Fast pickup at the airport. Car was very well turned out, virtually new Alfa Romeo. Easy to find at Palma airport. Staff very helpful. Drop off so easy. Fuel deposit refunded within a couple of hours. All in all highly recommend. I will definitely use Record Go for all my future rentals.

After I had already booked with Record go twice and was satisfied both times, I booked there again this time. Picking up the vehicle went again without any problems. The vehicle had a few scratches, but I documented them. Unfortunately the tires were no longer the best. 2 days later I noticed a loss of air in one of the tires. So we went to the nearest gas station and pumped up some air. Unfortunately the tire pressure didnt hold up, the tire was probably defective. Since I couldnt reach anyone from Record go by phone, I drove straight to the rental car station at Palma Airport. The employee there pointed out to me that I was to blame for the tire damage and demanded 100 in compensation. Well, that was bad luck... Of course I got a replacement vehicle immediately. At the end of my trip, I returned this vehicle with a full tank, just like the first vehicle. A rental employee looked at the vehicle and said everything was okay. When asked whether I would receive a return protocol, he said that it would come by email. Unfortunately, when I got home I realized that I hadnt received any email. For this, 144 was debited from my credit card and 100 was credited at the same time. Why ???? I have no idea... Im still waiting today for the fuel deposit of 128 that Im entitled to. All in all, I made a loss of around 170 and if I add the replacement for the dilapidated tire, I made a loss of 270. Thats not how you treat customers. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Record go. A disappointed ex-customer

Das Fahrzeug hatte zwar die ein oder andere Schramme, aber die hatte ich dokumentiert. Leider waren die Reifen nicht mehr die Besten. 2 Tage spater bemerkte ich einen Luftverlust an einem der Reifen. Also an die nachste Tankstelle und Luft aufgepumpt. Der Reifendruck hielt leider nicht, der Reifen war wohl defekt. Da ich telefonisch niemanden von Record go erreichte, fuhr ich direkt zur Mietwagenstation am Flughafen Palma. Die Mitarbeiterin dort machte mich darauf aufmerksam, dass ich schuld an dem Reifenschaden hatte und verlangte 100,-- Schadensersatz. Tja, das war Pech... Naturlich habe sofort ein Ersatzfahrzeug bekommen. Am Ende meiner Reise gab ich dieses Fahrzeug, genau so wie das erste Fahrzeug wieder vollgetankt ab. Ein Mitarbeiter der Vermietung schaute sich das Fahrzeug an und meinte alles okay. Auf die Frage ob ich ein Rucknahmeprotokoll bekomme, sagt er, dass diese per Mail kommt. Zuhause musste ich leider feststellen, das ich keine Mail erhalten habe. Dafur wurden mir 144,-- von der Kreditkarte abgebucht wurden, gleichzeitig 100,-- gutgeschrieben. Warum ???? Keine Ahnung.... Auf die mir zustehende Tankkaution in Hohe von 128,-- warte ich noch heute. Alles in Allem habe ich einen Verlust von ca.170,-- und wenn ich den Ersatz fur den maroden Reifen dazunehme von 270,-- gemacht. So geht man nicht mit Kunden. Leider kann ich Record go nicht mehr empfehlen. Ein enttauschter Ex-Kunde

The cheapest on booking.com but the worst. Unfortunately I cannot give 0 stars. Unfortunately I became a victim of my naivety. What a horror. Upon arrival, there was a two-hour long line and staff who did not keep us informed. Once it was my turn, I was helped by a very grumpy man who was just snapping. We received the key in the parking garage. The staff did not cooperate (not even upon return). Our car was full of scratches and dents that were not mentioned in the contract. We took pictures of the damage. Once back, 803 euros was debited from my credit card. They proved through invoices and photos that two new damages occurred, namely on the hood and the roof. There has never been any damage here. They use old photos to screw people who dont want to get insurance. Lesson for next time: take good, clear photos of the entire car when picking up and returning it. I am now busy with booking.com and the bank to get my money back. Biggest lesson: never ever rent from this company. Scammers!!

Van de schade hebben we fotos gemaakt. Eenmaal terug werd er 803 euro van mijn creditcard afgeschreven. Ze bewezen dmv facturen en fotos dat er twee nieuwe schades ontstonden waren, namelijk op de motorkap en het dak. Hier heeft nooit schade gezeten. Ze gebruiken oude fotos om mensen te naaien die geen verzekering af willen sluiten. Les voor de volgende keer: goede heldere fotos maken van de gehele auto bij ophalen en inleveren. Ik ben nu druk in de weer met booking.com en de bank om mijn geld alsnog terug te krijgen. Grootste les: never nooit bij dit bedrijf huren. Oplichters!!

Ive been waiting more than 1 year for the fuel deposit to be refunded. Despite multiple emails and calls, I am put off with the argument that it will take time. After I was back in Mallorca in November and had the opportunity to follow up again in person, I was informed that my account number was incorrect (what nonsense) I was promised that it would now be instructed again and that it would take a maximum of 5 days... well yes, unfortunately I had to leave again and 4 weeks have now passed without any response or refund of my money!
