Rented a car from here for a 1 week family holiday in Fuengirola with the majority of our family flying in from the UK and us taking the train down as we live in Spain. Picking up the car I was met with the usual car rental questions over whether to accept paying an excess or taking full insurance with them. Knowing that the car would be parked on the street, I went with the full insurance. I was quoted a price of EUR350. I did question the expense and was told that it was cause it was a brand new car. Being tired after a long train journey and wanting to get to the villa, I accepted. To be fair, the car was good, but it definitely was not brand new. A number of dings on it and 50,000 KM registered. During the week, car rental costs came up in conversation. My best man also rented a car through Record Go but Malaga Airport. We both had automatic SUV's, he is 1 year and 1 day older than me, he is driving on a UK license whilst I have a Spanish license and, due to flight times, his rental was a few hours longer than mine. For the same full insurance, he paid EUR198.94. I don't like to leave bad reviews without speaking to the company first so on 21/10/204 I did ask for an explanation of the differing prices. I received a generic response on the 26/10/2024 explaining the difference between car rental with private insurance vs fully comprehensive. I responded that day with both of our contracts and asked for an explanation for the massively different pricing. Writing this on the 10/11/2024, I have had no response. For insurance prices alone, it seems like the best option is to rent from the airport and not this branch. Should Record Go read this, my complaint number remains: 717524

I can only recommend Record Go, everything went smoothly and we got a great car for little money compared to other rentals. It is good to follow their website from time to time, they often have discounts. The only thing that surprised me was that they only give you instructions where to pick up your car, nobody comes with you. So you can't really report if there are some scratches on the car as was the case with our car....but since we got full coverage, it did not really matter to us.

Actually good service in the office. Acceptable price, the car was prepared quickly and the handover was successful. Take advantage of the full protection option, the deposit for the full tank is refunded within 24 hours. Fiat Panda was okay for 1 day for trip to Gibraltar

Good service at the office. Booking was done online (50% discount), recommended in the office. Reasonable price, car prepared promptly and handover went okay. Take full cover option, deposit for full tank was returned in 48hours. Fiat500 was okay for 3 days for trips around malaga.

Be CAREFULL with this company. I have lost my full rental payment as I didn't show up on time so my reservation was cancelled together with full upfront payment. Was not aware that if you are late with pick up (above 24h) the reservation is cancelled and you lose your money. Have tried to claim the case in written complaint to the HQ but the company was not flexible at all and refused to return my money. In the end I opened a new reservation, paid again and finally enjoyed my Piaggio! The staff at the branch was very helpful and supportive. The scooter was great, both in the mountains and coast or even on highways! Great fun at 40'

One of the best car rent experience in all travels we've had. Full insurance, no excess, debit card acceptance, quick key grab and drop. Also fresh cars (2020-2023) with almost fullest/highest technology set. I read some bad reviews and in most cases it's clients fault that they didn't read T&C, especially part about fuel policy (full/full) - they charge additionally a full gas tank price and you must return with full tank with a fresh check/bill from a gas station no more than 10km away from a renting point. After couple of bussines days company refund a gas deposit if those conditions are met.

I'll rent here again! I had a very pleasant experience with Record Go. The car handover was nice and easy, I rented Audi Q2 and the car was in great condition! Later during our trip we had a little unplanned "adventure", I got a screw in a tire (luckily we had full coverage). After a few phone calls we were advised to drive to the nearest Record Go office (which was Seville airport, and we rented in Malaga) and change the car. Personnel was very responsive and reliable and they gave us another car with all the paperwork relatively quickly. I was slightly disappointed that we got a Toyota Corolla instead of Audi Q2, but anyway it was a good solution and we managed to continue our trip. And fuel deposit returned automatically in 2 days. Totally recommend!
