Virtuo delivering as always. Very responsive helpdesk (chat on the site). Good car. Clear instructions. Just drive out of the parking , no ticket or code needed. Little box to enter parking was broken, but just pushed the phone button and door opened (I guess they know it's broken). Obviously this parking is in the very heart of Barcelona, so it took us a couple attempts to come at it from the right direction to be able to drive into the parking. (first two attempts we weren't allowed to turn left/right into the final street)

No No No. Sure, it seemed like a great idea at the time - convenient, seamless and hassle-free. Why not give it a try? "It's all on the app". Not quite. I spent 4.5 hrs of my holiday time - much of it in a torrid underground parking lot in BCN without internet or cellphone access - and 200$ in roaming charges (back up on street level) working with Virtuo to be able to unlock, start and use the car. This was my time and my money to sort out their system bugs so that they could honor their side of the contract. And when I returned the car to the bowels of the underground garage - little did I know that I was to run through an internet dependent protocol of damage report, gas gauge report, etc. in order to close out the contract. No instructions. No personnel. No communication. In the end they closed it out remotely when no one could tell me the code to get back into the garage. When I got one more request from them late at night, I suggested that if they had any doubts about the car, they send someone from their offices (just up the street from the garage) and check it out themselves - I was on holidays and didn't actually work for Virtuo. Compensation? Oh of course, how about 200$ on my next Virtuo rental? Really...??? I don't think so.

Do not recommend. For me it was worst rental ever and at the end they claimed I returned the car with 10 litres of fuel missing and charged 31 euro. Luckily I made photo of car dash showing full tank. Many other people mention this fraud.

New or almost new cars, well maintained, very convenient rental from the APP, very easy collection and delivery. Good prices. The only bad point that could be made is that they take a long time to return the deposit, they tell you that it is your bank but I have rented from different companies and the normal thing is that the same day you return the vehicle they check and release the deposit, in the You can see it at your bank at the same time.

My first experience has been excellent. Sign up very quickly. Immaculate car, and very easy collection and return. I was worried about the petrol issue, but the app already tells you how much youve used, so its easy to return it to the same level you found it.

A big scam They do not have customer service on the phone and I have sent two emails and they have not responded yet. My reservation was March 31, 2023, more than 12 days ago, I still have not received my 300 deposit back. They always say to contact contact@virtuo, when you send an email they never answer. They are even scammers, now they tell me that the front windshield wiper is bad and thats why they are going to charge 90 euros, but that is totally a scam because I checked everything was fine. I had premium protection in reserve that covers all damages. Likewise, I have not yet received my 300 deposit. Tomorrow Im going to report to the police station. I think they did the reviews themselves. A big scam.

Incluso son unas estafador ahora me dicen que limpia parabrisas delante esta malo y por eso van a cobrar 90 euro, pero eso es totalmente estafa porque yo revisado todo estaba bien. Tenia en reservacion proteccion premium que cubre todos danos. Igualmente aun no he recibido mi deposito 300 . Yo manana me voy a denunciar a comisaria. Creo que los review lo han hecho ellos. Una estafa grande.

Scammers... there is no point in purchasing premium insurance. They left me stranded and ruined my vacation. I tell you my experience: I reserve the car from Thursday to Monday. With Premium insurance. My trip? From Barcelona to a town in Girona. DAY 1 (THURSDAY) At 7:30 p.m. I go to pick up the car and it takes me 45 minutes to leave Barcelona due to technical car problems. It is clear that the car has an electronic problem, no matter how much I insist on changing, they do not give in and invite me to trust the one that started to fail. To think that all those minutes are collectible and I am on the call for 30 minutes the first day. DAY 2 (FRIDAY) I dont touch the car during the day. Only at night at 9pm! It takes me 15 minutes to turn it on for the trip and 30 minutes for the return trip. All due to technical problems. Calculate more collect calls. DAY 3 (SATURDAY) Another 15 minutes to turn it on. For the return the car does not close nor does it open. VIRTUO, despite its prices, has a pitiful technical service. If you think that Premium insurance serves to offer a solution, you are wrong. Finally they leave us stranded. 3 HOURS waiting for the tow truck and another 2 to manage absolutely nothing. Their final solution is to return by taxi and end my vacation when I have 2 more days in the Hotel!! They dont offer me a car, they dont help me and they disappear. I pay a very expensive taxi to return to the hotel. Late at night they say they will call me at 8 am the next day, to offer a solution. They argue that the insurance is obliged to give me a car these two days. In short, they make you dizzy, the insurance says one thing and they say another. DAY 4 (SUNDAY) I call Virtuo at 8:00 and I have no sign of life. At 8:45 a taxi called me that I never accepted and the taxi driver said he would take me to Barcelona. I manage to contact Virtuo to tell me that they are very sorry, but they can only offer me that. Go to Barcelona and they give me a car. But attention! Luckily, I lost all confidence in this company. Im going directly to the Girona station and looking for a life. (Taxi + rental of another car) Virtuo and its values are back in action! At 10 am I receive a text from Virtuo saying that unfortunately they do not have cars available!!! If I listen to them, they will leave me stranded in Barcelona for the second time! And then Virtuo disappears All this, gentlemen, is time spent. Each act is a fight and responses via email. They are incapable of assuming and taking responsibility for the entire disaster, I affirm that they will refund the days that you were not able to use the car and they will pay your taxi costs. Assess if it is worth it, I do not wish my experience on anyone.

Pensar que todos esos minutos son a cobro revertido y estoy 30 minutos en llamada el primer dia. DIA 2 (VIERNES) No toco el coche durante el dia. Tan solo por la noche a las 21! Tardo 15 minutos en encenderlo para la ida y 30 minutos para la vuelta. Todo por problemas tecnicos. Calcular mas llamadas a cobro revertido. DIA 3 (SABADO) Otros 15 minutos para encenderlo. Para la vuelta el coche no se cierra y tampoco se abre. VIRTUO, a pesar de sus precios tiene un servicio tecnico lamentable, si crees que el seguro Premium sirve para ofrecer una solucion estas equivocado. Finalmente nos dejan tirados. 3 HORAS esperando la grua y otras 2 para gestionar absolutamente nada. !Su solucion final es la de volver en taxi y terminar mis vacaciones cuando tengo 2 dias mas de Hotel!! No me ofrecen un coche, no me ayudan y desaparecen. Pago un taxi muy costoso para volver al hotel. A ultima hora de la noche dicen que me llamaran a las 8 am del dia siguiente, para ofrecer una solucion. Argumentan que el seguro esta obligado a ponerme un coche estos dos dias. En definitiva, te marean, el seguro dice una cosa y ellos otra. DIA 4 (DOMINGO) Llamo a las 8:00 a Virtuo y no tengo senales de vida. A las 8:45 me llama un taxi que nunca acepte y el taxista dice que me lleva a Barcelona. Consigo contactar con Virtuo para decirme que lo sienten mucho, pero solo pueden ofrecerme eso. Ir a Barcelona y me dan un coche. !Pero atencion! Por suerte, perdi toda la confianza en esta empresa, Me voy directamente a la estacion de Girona y me busco la vida. (Taxi + alquiler de otro coche) Virtuo y sus valores vuelven a la accion! A las 10 am recibo un sms de Virtuo diciendo que lamentablemente no tienen coches disponibles!!! Si les llego a hacer caso, me dejan tirado en Barcelona por segunda vez! Y por entonces Virtuo desaparece Todo esto senores es tiempo invertido. Cada acto es una lucha y replicas via mail. Son incapaces de asumir y responsabilizarse de todo el desastre, afirmo que les devolveran los dias que no pudiste utilizar el coche y te pagaran los gastos de taxi. Valorar si merece la pena, no deseo a nadie mi experiencia.

Its a pity because the car is very good, but both at the entrance, that it didnt open the parking lot with the license plate numbers, and at the end, that it didnt close the doors because it skipped the payment with the wallet card and we didnt know what to do because it is not clear how to contact customer service from the app, it makes you consider renting with people next time due to the insecurity of the process that does not seem completely fine-tuned.

A shameful agency, my recommendation is not to rent with them, they block and delete user accounts (VIRTUO) so as not to resolve incidents and much less refund money for surcharges that they make because they simply decide.
