GoCar Barcelona in Barcelona

very fun experience, front desk staff was pleasant and informative. we booked same day and were accommodated, and the 300EUR deposit was refunded immediately after returning the vehicle. keep in mind there are very few places to park the vehicle in the touristy parts of the city. but overall we had a great time during this once in a lifetime experience

We booked GoCar online before landing in Barcelona after being recommended to do so via friends who visited earlier in the year. The cars were well explained by very friendly staff and easy to figure out once on the road. We did the blue 3-hour route. I recommend to spend less time at the first stop recommended by the audio, as there are suggested stops further along more worth your time and photos. Again when returning to the shop, the staff were really helpful in parking and checking out. The car cubby is big and could carry all of our luggage and the GPS and sound info system was interesting and complicated the whole journey. My one grip would be that when we pressed "home" to go back to the shop early, the navigation did not connect to Google Maps, and there was no clear way to return to the original route either. If I did not have a passenger with internet I would have been stranded - so have a back-up just in case.

My boys were so so happy,we are all adults and we had our best family experience. So easy to drive and cool digital guidance. If you are thinking about going around Barcelona using hop on hop off bus, and you drive, better try this go car. You can set your pace, park, take pictures, and back driving again without all those long queues and bus waiting. The only real bad thing about this is their sat nav-it is delayed, fixed and clunky. If you have your own google maps or wayz, use it. For drivers, it's like a moped but in a go cart/smart car frame

Very fun experience for a tour in spain. Just the car has no roof ; so, the sun is right on top of you. The GPS does not show when you are driving in the opposite way. It's so easy to get lost in barcellona streets. The company/shop does not call you when you get lost. Unfortunately for my group and i we found ourselves in a highway while driving 40km/hr ( max the gocar allows ) and the highways speed is 100. Regardless, it was a a FUN AND WILD EXPERIENCE. WE LAUGHED SO MUCH. Definitely recommend but for those who are okay with getting lost

This is the first negative review, I have written EVER. This company is horrendous, the customer service is terrible. The cars are old and DANGEROUS. We were given a 30 second training before the tour, and we were not taught how to operate the vehicle properly. An accident occurred, and the staff didn't even know what could have caused it, until a manager got involved and informed her that she had not properly taught us how to use the vehicle. Besides for the SCARY experience that occurred, WE had to pay 300 Euros- for a tiny scratch left on an already beaten car. This place is a scam, only looking to take your money, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Updated Response: Your unprofessional attitude, and your response to try and save face is very clear. Your guide who gave us the training had NO CLUE, what caused the accident when it occurred, you know why? Because she never taught us how to operate the vehicle properly. Anyways looking at recent reviews, it is clear that I am definitely not the only one who feels this way about your company, there are many others! I offered to contribute to the cost, out of being kind. But your lack of taking responsibility or to compromise when this clearly was your staff's fault as well, reflects VERY POORLY on your company!! I hope that the public can learn from my mistake and avoid using a company that treats its customers poorly.

This was such a fun and informative way to see Barcelona. We had such a blast. It took us past several major sights and took us up to the Olympic park, where we got out and looked around. The return was along the ocean and the views were simply spectacular. The employees couldn't have been any nicer or more friendly. They made the entire process amazing. I highly recommend them and the 3 hour tour.
