1 STAR FOR ENTERPRISE / 5 STARS FOR CHRISTIAN We booked an automatic, SUV from this branch specifically (as it is closest to our apartment) as we were moving house to somewhere 5 hours away. We showed up to pick up our car, and were told that they have NO automatic SUVs. In fact, we were told that they have NO automatics at all. One lady started calling other branches to see what they had. She mentioned that there was an option at the airport, but we had to go and pick it up ourselves, using a manual car.I told them I was not comfortable driving a manual in the city, and asked if someone could bring it, and was just told "no." In the meantime, another completely useless guy (tall, thin with tattoos), started talking to us. We explained our situation - that we were moving house, we had to leave a certain time, we had big luggage and a bike, and that I was not comfortable driving a manual car in Barcelona - and his proposal was either: 1 - to cancel the booking completely 2 - to take a normal, manual passenger car 3 - then he tried to persuade us to take on a full on Enterprise van (which would be an extra cost). I explained to him again, that none of these were solutions due to them being manual cars / lack of space. He proceeded to talk over me, to the point that I had to walk away before I said something rude, and my partner had to carry on speaking to him. Then, Christian came and saved the day. Having just arrived, he immediately approached us, asked what was happening, and started, literally, running around to try and sort things out. He took our phone number, told us to go sit and wait somewhere warm, and would keep us updated. 1 hour later, he called us - he found an automatic SUV at the airport - he was driving there himself to pick it up and bring it back for us. We waited in total for 3 hours. The service was absolutely shocking. The tall, thin guy just wanted to get rid of us, and didn't care about our needs. What a joke. Christian - you deserve a raise. Thank you for making our day less stressful.
Disgusting service! We were late due to the terrible thunderstorm, drove 30 minutes here and couldn't contact the office. No one called from their behalf and just canceled our fully paid with Booking reservation. After that made an another reservation with Booking - a lot of cars were available online with this supplier, so we proceeded with the booking. But! the manager totally didn't want to help us in this situation in any way. Thanks to Booking for resolving this situation and never book with Enterprise supplier.
AVOID!!!! Have never had such a worse renting experience. First off we made our reservations months ago and when we showed up, they gave us the last car they had. It was an electric Volvo ONLY CHARGED 61%! We had to change our entire trip's plans and cancel parts of our trip because we could not travel on an electric car. With the 61%, we arrived in Llafranch at 20%. We then spent $80 charging it and only got up to 57% after 6 hrs of charging at a hotel that wasn't ours. We spent two different nights charging this piece of shit car just to get back to Barcelona. Never made it to France all because of this car. Will not get reimbursed from hotels that we had to cancel because of this car. Absolutely horrible experience. And don't even get me started on their hours of operation. (also, I never leave bad reviews. I pretty much only leave five star reviews so that says something.)
AVOID THIS BRANCH ...Should be 0 stars ..... Booked a large premium automatic SUV and when I arrived they had none and they told me they don't have anything . They then offered me some filthy small manual Kia suv without any remorse or sense or customer service and told me take it leave it . Looked like someone transported sand in it and they just passed a vaccum for a minute. The car looked like it was never washed and banged up at every corner . I waited there 2 hours
Avoid this company!! A nightmare.. no decency with customers.. We had a confirmed reservation at 12.00h and we were supposed to reach France.. We arrived at the office some minutes in advance and the staff attention seemed a bit slow paced. They kept us waiting for 3h with the excuse that they had a problem with the fleet. We were a group of 4 customers waiting for cars that never arrived. They could not reach any other office from the same company to ask for a car !! They even proposed us to take the company van with a big logo .. hilarious.. No one prevented us with time about this so we had no choice to waste all our day looking for another company(their job!!!) (+ extra cost in the price ../expenses ..food, taxi) as we had no hotel and all our luggage with us... never again. Total lack of respect for making us loosing our time from. End of the story > With Avis we got the car in 10 mins.
Terrible experience, arrived and they did not hace the van I rented for 3 people, instead they had one with two seats. They made me pay an upgrade for another car that fit three for an extra EUR50 per day. The car I ultimately received was dirty like if some other customer had recently dropped it off. 10-15 km after leaving the agency with the car, the flat tire warning lit up on my dashboard, I kept going for some time until the tire went totally flat and had to use their flat tire kit since they don't give you a spare tire. I then went to the nearest mecanic and he said the tire had no visible punctures and that possibly the tire was just worn out. Of course, I let enterprise know that they had given me an unrevised and unchecked car, given that the car had this problem and wasn't even clean when we received it. Of course they ended up charging me for the kit and for a new tire even though the employee admitted that he also noted poor maintenance on the worn tire. Never renting with enterprise again, if you do, I don't recommend this location.
They are understaffed. I arrived at 10am (as per my booking request) to collect my car, but there was only 1 guy at the counter and a huge queue of people waiting for their cars too! Clearly they take too many bookings and they have not enough staff to actually serve the customers! I've been waiting here 45 mins (as of the time of writing this review) and I still haven't been served. This is the worst car rental experience I've ever had, and I had used many car rentals over the years.
The worst rental company i ever experienced. we waited for 2 hours and there was a line of 20 people waiting. The 2 guys that were working did not seem to be in a hurry at all. It looked like they slowed down. Not problem solving minded, trying to work faster or call in people from other locations. It looked like they were not capable of doing there job.
